As a joyous celebration of music, Fuser elevates the rhythm genre to a whole new level where gameplay can remain as addictive as ever, but now players are encouraged to explore the tools at hand and create something entirely new. Once you find your groove, it's almost impossible not to get absorbed into a one-person rave – dancing along to the mix you've created. Fuser doesn't just revitalise the rhythm genre, it gives it a whole new style.

With the avatar customization, set customization, and unbelievable fluidity in musical choices it offers, there's plenty to love with Fuser. Players with a need for different color modes due to color blindness will be delighted to see three other modes available here, as well as subtitles. This effort might not sway gamers with a distinct aversion to rhythm games, but fans of the genre who have grown through various consoles and popular hits will have a blast. In fact, it is entirely feasible to think you could craft a convincing set with this set of tools, and that's the highest praise I can muster. There's never been a better video game to move a crowd than Fuser.

Fuser is as exciting as it is creative, with plenty of options to make music through different genres. Harmonix has made a colourful and enjoyable game, and I can't recommend it enough.

With a huge variety of music, an amazing UI interface, and enough content to keep you happily bobbing your head for days, Fuser is one of the best music games ever made. Even those with no musical skill will enjoy learning how to create great sounding mixes in Fuser, and the game gives them plenty of leeway to practice. Fuser is a burst of happiness, light, and live music, all of which are sorely needed in the world right now. The highest recommendation.

Fuser is, frankly, a staggering technological achievement. The game takes the act of making music, an incredibly challenging thing to accomplish, and practically trivialises it. You don't need to have any kind of prior knowledge to make meaningful music with this title. The game walks you through everything with a perfect learning curve and near-limitless flexibility. It remains to be seen if it will court a large enough player base to confirm its existence, but as it currently stands, this title is yet another unexpected jolt of inspiration for the rhythm game genre, which even just a few years ago looked all but dead. Between the brilliance of rhythm titles in VR and now Fuser, the future is bright indeed.

FUSER is all about player creativity and freedom. It's less focused on technical recitation of precise button presses and more on how in the groove you can get yourself. For decades, Harmonix has been harnessing the power of music and delivering a feeling of super stardom to players. FUSER puts that directly into the players' hands more than any game before it. Even with a PS5 and next-gen games in hand, I can't turn the music off. If you yearn for the days of the plastic instrument revolution, just without all that junk taking up space, FUSER will put you as close to the stage as any music game possibly can.

Fuser brings back something that has been so sorely missed this generation, something that Harmonix does better than anyone else; connecting us to the music that defines us. This game is an absolute joy.

FUSER would be an incredibly special game if it came out last year. But now, in late 2020, it almost seems necessary.

An absolutely barnstorming return to the main stage for Harmonix, who have seemingly taken everything they’ve learned from eighteen years in the genre to create a fantastically creative, inventive and hands-stuck-to-the-controller levels of addictive rhythm video game, the kind of which has been sorely missed.

Harmonix shows once again why they are very good at what they do - making fun rhythm games.  Fuser is a fantastic music creation tool that is a ton of fun to play. Online battle modes are fun, when you can find people to play with. Fuser is something I will be playing for quite some time, if only to try and get five stars for all the campaign missions.

Fuser is a wonderful title that will appeal to anyone looking for a good time with great beats. Whether you're spectating a user-created set or making your own beats with the base soundtrack of 100 songs, there's no better time to spin the disc and get the house poppin'!

FUSER succeeds in bringing the festivals into our living rooms! It seems like there are an overwhelming amount of mechanics to play with, but it eases the player into them in such a way that it’s enjoyable for new DJ’s and veterans alike

I can see myself spending a lot of time with FUSER, as I regale moments of my youth with various software that didn't have any of the shine present here. A music game without custom peripherals is a breath of fresh air - both in reducing the cost and in showing that it's about the creativity of mixing tracks, rather than just playing back some buttons in time with the screen.

Fuser is much more than a reminiscence of good old rhythm games. Devs from Harmonix are kings of this genre even after all those years.

Fuser is definitely one of the best and of course the few games released in the rhythm genre in recent years and the eighth generation of consoles. A title that thanks to its gameplay and mechanisms, gives its audience a lot of freedom to create and mix different pieces of music from more than a hundred of famous songs and at the same time, it is a highly addictive title. The only thing that can be criticized is the lack of freedom for making more interesting mixes due to the game's rating system which kind of gets in the way of the gamer's creativity and personal style.

Climb to the top of the charts and become the world's greatest DJ in Fuser, the newest title from Harmonix. With over a hundred licensed songs included with the game and more on the way, Fuser gives players a creative toolset that allows them to experience the feeling of mixing and creating beats with surprising simplicity.
