As Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge continues to evolve, it could get more interesting. Right now, it feels like a decent early VR title that was merely expanded upon. That's not necessarily a bad thing! I just wish several aspects of it were more fleshed out. It's still more captivating than the recent trilogy.

Star Wars Tales from the Galaxy's Edge starts pretty good... and stars to deflate more and more as you play. The gameplay doesn't evolve past the first hour, and even if it's a short game, it wastes some opportunities. But even with that, if you love Star Wars you will enjoy it. Interacting with C3PO or Yoda it's not an everyday thing...

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is only a few hours long, but for a Star Wars fan it could be worth it to experience that galaxy, far, far away. It does a lot right in that aspect. That said, considering the price for such a short game and the issues with the gameplay, I would be more cautious if I were a more casual fan or just enjoyed these types of games. It immerses you in that universe, but it doesn’t keep you in it.

It must be said that uploads after each defeat can yield, and that for the same reason we hope that their duration, in any case a few seconds, will be further optimized; in all cases, however, the surprising degree of challenge of Star Wars Tales from the Galaxy's Edge should still be hailed as a positive.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge doesn't offer a particularly long experience or a very rich gameplay, but as a VR shooter mixed with a bit of exploration, the outcome is quite good.

Tales From the Galaxy's Edge looks, feels and sounds like Star Wars, and the campaign is an enjoyable enough adventure while it lasts. But it simply doesn't do enough with the universe.

Done right, VR can really immerse a player into other worlds and stories. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is an impressive example of what can be done.

Able to be entirely completed in just a few hours, it's certainly fair to say that Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy's Edge Enhanced Edition is more of a morsel than a banquet and yet, it still feels compelling because of how lovingly authentic the universe of Star Wars has been replicated here. Though folks who aren't fans of Star Wars won't quite get quite so much from it, Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy's Edge Enhanced Edition nonetheless earns its keep as an attractive showcase of what PSVR2 can do, all wrapped up in the delectable veneer of a galaxy far, far away.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Enhanced Edition is an excellent way to showcase the best features of a fancy new PlayStation VR2. The first few hours of the story are its Episodes I and II (bad) but then things turn around and immerse us in Star Wars greatness.

Star Wars fans will love this, but don't expect anything innovative for VR games in this one.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge - Enhanced Edition starts out flat but does eventually get a bit better. You'll need to trudge through a couple of hours of bland shooting galleries to get to the good stuff, though, and even then the title is largely let-down by repetitive encounters and some dated design decisions. The game takes decent advantage of PSVR2's innovative features, but also underlines its Meta Quest 2 origins at times. And while there's an unquestionable novelty to existing within George Lucas' legendary universe, it feels like the license is doing a lot of the lifting for a mostly average adventure.

One of the first bets for the PlayStation VR2 is a journey to the far distant galaxy of Star Wars, which, despite the repetition, is a satisfying shooter that takes advantage of some of the best features of the new PlayStation 5 peripheral.

The game is designed for both Star Wars fans and non-fans, offering standalone stories that also feature connections to the Star Wars universe. The gameplay involves completing various missions, such as infiltrating a First Order base, or rescuing C-3PO and R2-D2. The enhanced edition includes new content and a higher price tag of '50. The game itself is surprisingly fun, but it is a shame that there are still so many bugs almost 3 years after its original launch.

Star Wars: Tales from The Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition allows you to step into the franchise and use a range of iconic weaponry. Fans will love the faithful representation of the world and its inhabitants, however, the uninspiring opening and aging design hinder the experience.

With a solid and dependable blaster-led Star Wars adventure as its basis, there's more to Tales from the Galaxy's Edge than initially meets the eye, with the most fun to be had in the side tales picked up in Seezelslak's bar. This has had a big glow up since its original Meta Quest release, but left me wanting something more consistently inventive and truly built for PSVR 2 and higher powered systems. Hopefully we'll get to see that in future.

The result is an always fairly balanced, well-structured and charmingly narrated VR shooting gallery with numerous comfort functions, which represents a nice springboard into virtual reality due to its not too high playful complexity. In order to overcome the threshold to the must-have title in a possible sequel, however, you need even more sophistication in level design, significantly more puzzle inserts, smarter enemies and an even larger game world.
