Little Nightmares 2 is a fantastic that incorporates fantastic elements such as a useful companion that generates an interesting cooperation. The imprecisions in control and the excessive importance of trial and error keep it from the excellence that it embraces on many occasions

Little Nightmares 2 is undoubtedly unmissable. [...] The insidious nature that carries its twisted aura throughout the campaign, ensures to encapsulate apprehension, awe, disgust, dismay, hatred, panic, abhorrence and terror.

Little Nightmares II doesn't break the mould established by its predecessor but it improves on it in a number of small ways while introducing fans to a new cast of creepy characters to be kept up at night by

Being placed in a world akin to a setting kids might be whisked away to if they were transported to a nightmarish version of their own imagination -- by that interdimensional beast that lives underneath their floorbirds -- it's, yeah, terrifying.

Little Nightmares II isn't content with just iterating on its predecessor, instead improving on it in practically every way. The puzzles are challenging and rewarding, combat surprisingly functional, and the imagery is as striking as ever. While trial-and-error design bogs down Little Nightmares II considerably, it's far and away a better game than the original.

And then there's the twisty narrative of the Little Nightmares universe, a subject the first game's players were already deeply engrossed in. I'd hopped into forums about fan theories, explanations, and implications of different messages from the first game before the sequel's credits had even finished rolling, and I suspect many others will do the same. Though my time playing Little Nightmares II may have come to an end, consider me hooked and eager to see what Tarsier Studios and the Little Nightmares detectives have to say about the franchise in the future.

Little Nightmares 2 is a cautiously expansive sequel which expertly paces its shocks and creepy atmosphere. The detail and weight of its locations are unnervingly believable, while its monsters are hellishly otherworldly. Exciting, brutal and darkly humorous, we just wish it gave us more reason to stay longer.

Little Nightmares 2 offers a fresh adventure with Mono while keeping Six one of the main protagonists. The game yet again successfully combines horror, suspense, and puzzle/platforming action in a sweet mix, you will never get enough of. The new elements like coop gameplay with Six give some fresh feeling to the game, but also make you wonder. Why is it not possible to play with a friend? In the meantime, the trial and error can frustrate you, but all over the game will make you want even more of this!

Little Nightmares 2 is a technically great game with a unique atmosphere and living world, which offers pleasantly different logic puzzles and horror moments. However it makes a mistake in it's repetitive relationships with the enemies and unsurprising story, which was already told through trailers and merch.

Little Nightmares 2 is a worthy continuation of the 2017 title. It does not attempt something radically different, but it perfectly executes its new ideas.

Mono and Six make a perfect team in a horrible world that draws you as the player and them as characters into its darkness so effortlessly oh and make sure you listen carefully throughout the end credits too! There will always be something extra creepy about discovering that the only way into a place is via the same way that someone escaped…!

With Little Nightmares 2 I expected a short story for 2-3 hours, meanwhile, for two days I could not break away from the game, wanting to know the end of the story. The creators did not disappoint, expanding the concept and offering a lot of chilling scenes.

Little Nightmares II is just a worse game than the original. Everything they added to the system feels clunky at best and unfair at worst. It's a shame because this same story, with its same environments, same levels, same enemies, and same music and sound would have been infinitely better if they kept the mechanics from the original.

Despite a couple of hurdles, Little Nightmares II remains true to the eerie, terrifying foundation built by its predecessor. It can't completely avoid comparison, but its expanded world and NPC co-op features are well implemented and make the journey worth taking.

Minor issues aside, Little Nightmares 2 is a spot-on sequel, delivering more of what made the original so great in the first place, while adding that little something extra thanks to its AI companionship with Six. The story is well paced, giving you just enough of each environment so we weren't left desperate to move on before being whisked to somewhere new and each new creature offered a fresh challenge and opened up new ways to think about the tasks at hand.

Little Nightmares 2 is well worth taking a closer look at. Rarely has horror, despair and loneliness been illustrated in such a compelling way.

Inspired and bewitching, Little Nightmares II fits easily and consistently in the wake of its predecessor, intelligently and elegantly expanding the narrative of a perverse and distressing dimension, yet at the same time almost irresistible.
