Warhammer 40,000 Battle Sisters is a thoroughly enjoyable VR adventure set in Games Workshop's iconic sci-fi universe. It's a shame that a few bugs diminish the game's impact, and the occasional lack of variety, but for anyone looking for a futuristic battlefield to blast their way across, Battle Sister is definitely worth hopping into a drop pod for.

Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister is the kind of game I would expect out of this franchise. It’s bloody, visceral, and throws all sorts of enemies at you to cleanse through the mighty judgement of bullet and blade for the Emperor. The campaign is passable and the levels can sometimes feel uninspired with a few notable exceptions, but all of it feels like a vehicle to move you to the next fight. When those fights are up close and personal, Battle Sister sings with slashings and shooting a-plenty. When things get a little more long distance, the seams start to show a little much. That said, if you’re a Warhammer fan or just looking for a mostly solid action VR experience, Warhammer 40K: Battle Sister has more than enough ammunition and sharpened metal to please the Emperor.

The duration of the campaign stands at least half a dozen hours, so not bad, but in the face of an experience that I feel I recommend only to the most cheezy fans of Warhammer 40,000, moreover with some remora for the most demanding. Final chiosa for multiplayer: I would have liked to try horde mode in co-op, but at the moment it is not available, you have to wait until January. Will it be the turning point? It would take one of the Sisters' miracles.

Overall the game was an enjoyable experience with a few glitches along the way. The iconic Warhammer 40k universe made it a fun and enjoyable experience for a veteran fan who has always had to imagine the vision of these battlefields. With a few patches and perhaps the addition of some other game modes or difficulties, this could be a great VR game for anyone to play, not just Warhammer fans.

Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister tries to strike on many occasions but never quite lands. Its gun-play is as enjoyable as a shooter should be but it doesn't offer anything you can't get better elsewhere
