With several different gameplay modes, speeds, challenges, and the content of games offered in each bundle, Capcom Arcade Library does a spectacular job introducing these classic titles to the Nintendo Switch. The vertical Orientation and possibilities offered in handheld mode, in particular, will unlikely be replicated on any other system.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is a must-see collection for retro game lovers - especially shooters and beat 'em ups fans - and for video game enthusiasts. Many may not be entirely satisfied with the result of the Japanese company's work, but they will certainly only realize it after several coins spent on Capcom's emulated machines.

All in all, I found CAS to be a fun, fast-paced and action-packed game, albeit one of little long-term interest. If you can get past the pricing, I’m certain most players will have a blast playing the collection of classic games, even if you are unfamiliar with them. I for one became quickly hooked on ‘Giga Wing’, despite having never played it before. There is something in the way of online multiplayer, however, much like the game as a whole, it is unlikely this will keep you going for very long. As a result, although regular arcade-goers might find CAS to be a great opportunity to pick up and play their favourite retro games on the fly, I don’t expect many casual gamers to see much value in their purchase after a week or two of playing.

One of the pricer but better compilation titles around, leave it to Capcom to show you a good “old” time

Capcom Arcade Stadium is an application or hub that gives access to up to 32 Arcade games -30 of them marketed in 3 packs of 10 games each- that cover the 80s and 90s of the Japanese company. A very good presentation and a wide range of options that is only marred by major absences of several of the company's classics and by a business model based on game packs that could have followed a more traditional model. In any case, arcade game lovers will appreciate it.

If you were one of those people who lost huge amounts of coins in arcades between 1985 and 2001, you swirled around a machine to see how someone passed that phase that you were stuck or you are simply a lover of retro videogames, this is your game. You will relive many memories while playing alone or with company locally

The vast majority of these games have aged surprisingly well, being as fun and challenging now as they were back when they were first released. Sure, games like Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Bionic Commando are way too clunky for today’s standards, but when you have dozens of other extremely fun games at your disposal, you’ll ignore the fact some of them aren’t worth your time anymore.

Capcom Arcade Stadium offers a neat way to re-live some genuinely great arcade classics, whilst it was a treat discovering titles I’d never heard of before. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few that fall short of the mark and it is a bit of a shame you can’t purchase them individually, especially since not every title in a bundle will appeal to everyone. Thankfully, the relatively cheap price of each bundle means you won’t be breaking the bank too much to get an awesome selection of games – even IF you might not touch some of them again after trying them once. There’s no doubting that Capcom Arcade Stadium won’t be for everyone, but those who want a trip down memory lane or the opportunity to discover an arcade classic they never played before are in for a treat. Not every title delivers an exciting experience, but those that have stood the test of time still feel great to play decades on from their initial release.

Capcom Arcade Stadium does a wonderful job of preserving some history defining titles for new generations to enjoy. It is a robust package with a large number of options for all kinds of gamers. The games themselves may have been modernised quite a lot, but they still look and feel distinctly ‘old’. Games are essentially classic in all but features, and this is possibly the most enchanting aspect of the collection.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is competent enough in recreating the exciting and noisy atmosphere of an arcade shop, bringing fond memories to the older players and historical context for the younger ones. Its varied collection features dozens of the company's games, some very remarkable, others not so much, covering the main styles that have consecrated Capcom in arcades. Despite the absence of some major games and online multiplayer, it's an almost must-have title for arcade and retrogaming enthusiasts, with lots of extra features and customization options.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is a large collection of action games that shooter, beat-‘em-up and fighting fans are bound to enjoy. The emulation is solid and the various features that are part of the wrapper help to pull the entire package together. Quibbles include some similar titles that add repetition to the library and perhaps the way that the packages are purchased – but they are the most minor of concerns compared to what is an overall excellent collection.

Relive some of the most iconic and important moments of the history of video games with this new Capcom compilation. Unless you really don't like retro games, you should have a lot of fun with this title. It's the most fun I've had diving bad into old games since Rare Replay

If you lived in the era of the 80’s and 90’s arcade games by Capcom, this is a must have collection. While its lack of online co-op is questionable, the offline experience allows its individual games’ maximum player capacity. This means you can invite your friends over for some old school retro gaming action. Some of the new features include player eccentric settings and modern user interface for a more flexible gameplay experience. All of the games are gems of the past including Progear, a port into the modern consoles since 20 years from its original release.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is a really cool collection of games from the past. All of the games can be played together with friends. There really is only one downside and that's the fact you can't play together online.
