Overall, I’d say that Arkane Studios may have possibly dropped the best game in the middle of this quality game drought we’re currently in (but I haven’t played Tales of Arise yet.) Deathloop isn’t nearly as original as it is refreshing and inventive. In fact, you could argue that Deathloop borrows the very best elements of everything that it rips off pays homage to and manages to stitch it together with a quality that’s not quite designer level, but considerably more convincing than a Wal-Mart brand knockoff.

DEATHLOOP won't be a game for everyone—however, if you are a fan of sandbox styled titles or if you just like games like Dishonored, DEATHLOOP is a familiar feeling experience presented in a unique way that makes it feel fresh and fun to play.

‎The theme of Deathloop is pure fantasy, well-designed areas and that we can see the hallmark of the studio in each of them. However, it suffers from several problems in its optimization, but nothing serious that cannot be solved in future equalizations. Its gameplay is a delight with each new weapon and ingenuity that we get, yes, you must first get to safety to be able to get them. The campaign mode has some limitations and we can do something past at the beginning and repetitive, but when we play a few hours we will gain greater fluidity in the movements and a spectacular gunplay.‎

Deathloop is yet another confirmation of Arkane Lyon's unbridled creative talent. It captures us from the very first moments thanks to an intriguing premise and keeps us glued to the pad until the end credits with a constantly evolving gameplay, enhanced by a unique styling and a basically perfect level design. Enemy AI and the shooting system could have been better, but regardless of these limitations it's a game absolutely worth trying.

Deathloop is the newest hit from Arkane Studios and even if it feels very familiar to Dishonored at the beginning, the gameplay loop changes everything. The studio captivates players again with a strong level design and the day and night cycle gets even more out of the different environments. In short, with Deathloop in your hands you'll experience the best the studio has delivered so far and leaves little to be desired.

As much of an odyssey as it was, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Deathloop. It's one of the more thoughtful and well-crafted games out there and one of the best things you can play on the PS5. In addition to everything else, I liked the game's sexy, graphic-novelish cartoon vibe in its visuals that made every area burst to life and fun to explore. It's a true piece of art and is definitely worth your time … over and over.

A thoughtful response to Dishonored that makes for an entertaining stealth shooter in its own right, but it's the multiplayer invasions that make Deathloop sing.

Deathloop is full of intrigue, clever ideas and a robust world design that is genuinely something different and unique. It’s problems with the inconsistent AI seems like a minor nitpick for what is an engrossing adventure, that uses various elements like time loop, roguelike elements, and RPG loot progression, and blends them into a seamless and highly enjoyable experience. Arkane rarely misses, and Deathloop is a perfectly aligned shot.

If you enjoyed Arkin's previous works, you will surely enjoy Deathloop. If you are not familiar with Arkin and its amazing games, Deathloop can still be a tasty potion that will encourage you to experience the rest of Arkin's games - which are also available on Gamepass.

Deathloop remains Arkane’s best work, and it’s fantastic that Xbox players can finally get in on Cole’s deadly groundhog day. Its unique structure and sheer scope, coupled with the signature Arkane gameplay that has been polished to within an inch of its life, feels like the work of a developer finally fully realizing a vision that began many years ago with the original Dishonoured. Despite the lacking AI, Deathloop is a modern-day classic that should not be overlooked by anyone, something that should hopefully now be made easier by having its audience extended to the Xbox.

Deathloop is charming, enticing and exhilarating. In 2021, Deathloop may have been the PC and PS5 game of the year for now, and now in 2022, it’s the turn of the Xbox.

All in all, Deathloop is my biggest surprise of the year. While it might be expected that Arkane would craft another high-quality experience, I'm personally astonished by how much the studio's latest release has clicked with me. Even though it might have a lot of common DNA with what Arkane has done before, the sheer amount of style and inventiveness that can be found in Deathloop makes it stand out greatly in a crowded video game market. If you're looking for something completely different compared to everything else that has released this year, Deathloop is absolutely worth getting lost in.

Deathloop is one of the best games of 2021, and the game will definitely have a place for it in the Game Awards. The game presented a great story mixed with a great variety of completing its tasks with a mixture of funny and serious dialogues that appear at the right time. Yes, there were a few problems, but they did not affect the overall experience of the game. Arkane studio has succeeded in providing a unique and unforgettable experience, and I would definitely recommend every PS5 owner to try this amazing game

Although the game didn’t really click with me in the first hour or so, once things started to fall in place for me I got completely sucked into the story of the game. I would tell myself, “I will do just take out this Visionary and then I will turn it off” but I just kept playing, that is the sign of a great game.

Arkane puts a twist on his seasoned formula. The best of his other works can be found here. Gameplay, level design, mechanics ... All at the service of a Rogue-Like structure, which the studio has managed to bring to its field. Deathloop will not leave anyone indifferent, we assure you.

Deathloop is an incredibly unique FPS, blending together some of the best aspects of Arkane’s previous work. Whether you prefer to sneak and target your prey slowly, or to tackle the challenge head-on with a limitless arsenal of weapons and powers. Deathloop blends an intriguing narrative, with incredibly diverse combat, and truly makes it one of the best games on PlayStation 5 right now. It is without a doubt one of the best games by Arkane to date.
