30XX Reviews
If you’re craving high-octane action platforming, 30XX is a must-play roguelike that will surely scratch the itch. Just be mindful of your build as best as you can.
I am really excited for the future of 30XX, and the Abyssal Armory update is chock full of welcome additions. It has the futuristic design and fluid gameplay of the Megaman X series with the replayability of roguelike gold-standards of Hades, Returnal, and Enter the Gungeon.
All in all 30XX is shaping up to be everything the original title was and more. While a little thin on content and glitch/bug heavy, this can be reasonably forgiven due to it being in Alpha state. I have no doubt that this title is going to great places and would suggest any Megaman or Roguelike fan take advantage of the Early Access program and get in early. Even though there isn't a whole lot here right now, it's constantly updating and is certainly my current MegAddiction.
When it comes to the most important elements - the level design, how the game plays, and whether it entices you to come back and keep playing - 30XX is fantastic.
