Ultimately Mario Golf: Super Rush is a solid game but one that suffers from some missteps. The game’s ridiculous dashing between shots in speed golf levels isn’t as enjoyable as it should be. While battle golf is an absolute blast, the fairly straightforward and simple adventure mode might bore some gamers who lack the patience to get through challenges to progress.
While the Adventure Mode only manages to save par, Mario Golf: Super Rush aces the zany, arcade feel of Mario kart with its Speed and Battle Modes.
Mario Golf: Super Rush is just about everything a player could want out of a Mario sports title. Nintendo and Camelot really threw the kitchen sink at the game, giving players a plethora of options to make the experience whatever they want it to be. The three modes available in Play Golf are a blast solo or with other players, and Golf Adventure is a meaty single-player experience for those that want one. Re-doing the same challenges in Golf Adventure can be a bit of a pain, but it can also be pretty satisfying completing some of the tougher tasks. Mario Golf: Super Rush continues the proud legacy of the series, offering just about everything a fan could ask for.
Mario Golf: Super Rush comes in swinging with entertainment, however, it inevitably manages to be one of the weakest of its sport as it inches close to rolling into a sand bunker.
A wealth of modes that accommodate a range of play preferences make this the best Mario golf game – and probably the best Mario sports game – in an age.
Mario Golf: Super Rush isn’t a bad game, but it simply isn’t that great, either. It’s not golf enough to pull serious sports enthusiasts to the bedside, but it’s not Mario enough for casual players to keep the game going once you’ve played all the courses a couple of times.
Mario Golf: Super Rush isn’t an unplayable game. The core golf is actually quite good, despite some changes, which will have a mixed reception from players. Almost everything around it, however, is either poorly thought out, lacking any personality, or lacking in content. Perhaps down the line, more content will fill it out enough that you can have fun playing only the parts which work, but Camelot has a lot of work to do to get this one to par.
Super Rush plays a great game of golf but is somewhat more restrained than other Mario Golf titles. Future DLC could potentially change this, but at launch it's merely entertaining, not essential.

True I’d rather take a 9 Iron to my own knee cap than actually play golf but at the very least Mario Golf is fun to pick up and play for a while, especially the speed golf sections. But maybe a bit more time in the Ball Washer could have done it some good
A solid foundation that needs to be supported in order to keep fans interested long term. Speed golf is a gimmick that works, but won't be for everyone and a disappointing amount of content for single-player fans may leave some wanting, but the game really shines with others.
Mario Golf: Super Rush may be a long way from being a system seller, but it's worth your attention.

Mario Golf Super Rush is a fun game to play with friends thanks to a good variety of characters and some fun new modes. Golfing alone can be fun as well when you're honing your skills in Golf Adventure. People expecting this to be a full-fledged story are going to be disappointed a bit though.

Like any promising golfer, it has the makings of greatness and just needs to work on its personal bests to come up under par next time.
There is no disputing this is an enjoyable, albeit brief, single-player golf game that provides the framework for a compelling gameplay experience. The lack of content — number of courses, weak online play, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Adventure mode — is the real problem here.
A fun addition to the series, Mario Golf: Super Rush is let down by a subpar story mode that fails to build on the history of the franchise.
While Mario Golf: Super Rush doesn’t feel like a complete package yet, it has a solid foundation. What it lacks in content and features, it makes up for it with a stellar presentation and fun new modes. It would’ve been great to have some incentive to play more modes aside from unlocking star clubs, but maybe we’ll get changes in future updates. With a lot of additional free content on the way, there’s still a chance that Super Rush can become a great title. For now, it scratches the Mario Golf itch just enough, but still falls a bit short. Overall, the game is simply par for the course. Nothing less, nothing more.
Mario Golf: Super Rush is a solid addition to the series that seeks to present an accessible and engaging experience for most players. We especially highlight the Speed Golf and Battle Golf modes, which manage to provide truly fun and rewarding moments with your friends! Unfortunately, the reduced number of courses can limit this fun and we truly expect to see more soon. Nevertheless, Mario Golf: Super Rush is yet another proof of Super Mario's versatility aa a character!

Mario Golf: Super Rush joins the ranks of Nintendo's various simulation games. Even though the title has more simulation aspects than other representatives, like Mario Kart or Mario Football, the game is fun. However, with Battle Golf, you get the typical and insane gameplay presented. When it comes to the adventure mode, I would have liked to see more variety in terms of character selection. It's all well and good if you can experience the adventure with your Mii, but I would have been more pleased if I could go on this journey with Warluigi. But in the end, you only get real fun when you play with several people. Mario Golf: Super Rush offers both online mode and local co-op. These modes are well done and do what you expect. All in all, golf fans will get their money's worth and have a lot of fun with the title. However, if you have nothing to do with golf, it will be difficult to enjoy the game.

'Mario Golf Super Rush' has simple controls so anyone can easily play this game, even the beginners can enjoy it. And it added more dynamic mode called 'Speed mode'. But it's not enough to enjoy the deep fun of golf, so it can be boring faster than your expectation.
