If you've experienced the game already, then your mileage may vary, as there's probably around six hours of new content in the expansion. Although there’s something to be said for exploring Tsushima once again with the PS5’s technical prowess elevating the visuals, and the controller's technology adding some subtle, but nonetheless enjoyable, elements to the whole experience.

Iki Island is a visual treat whose story adds layers to Jin’s character that feel so essential, it makes us wonder how they were ever cut from the original game. Completing every objective on the island will take some time, but if you’re only interested in the main story, your time on Iki may be briefer than expected.

The underlying game is still too reliant on the Ubisoft formula but the new content and Legends mode make Ghost Of Tsushima Director's Cut a notably better experience than the original at launch.

Iki Island doesn't do much beyond just offering more Ghost of Tsushima, but the new content is extremely worthwhile, thanks to a story that dives deeper into Jin's past, a few new combat wrinkles, and plenty of secrets to discover.

A slow opening and a slightly dated core game engine do not detract from a thrilling and engaging samurai epic that's ported with skill to PC.

The Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut offers the best version of Ghost of Tsushima so far and delivers some exciting new hours of content with the Iki Island DLC, even if it is not much new for people that have already finished the main game. The missing enemy variety and the lack of really new activities and upgrades are the biggest letdowns of the new dlc content, compared to the full package players get with the Director’s Cut.

While some upgrades expand on gameplay and story, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut seems more like an extension of the main game. Sucker Punch focused their effort into refining the technical aspect from the original game. This Director’s Cut offers the best Ghost of Tsushima experience to date.

The meaning of Ghost of Tushima Director's Cut is using the whole function of PS5. Although its graphics and frames seems to be a little less than other PS5's exclusive works, it built thrilling, immersive haptic with Dual Sense so that it shows the standard for games which will be upgraded for latest consoles.

The Director's Cut of Ghost of Tsushima makes an already stunning game one of the most impressive looking games on the market today. Iki island brings you on a fun adventure that takes a break from the more historically believable story of the main game. The adventure might be a little short but packs quite the punch. It is unfortunate that there isnt more to do on Iki island outside of the main story but considering there is quite a lot of content in the base game that you can still enjoy, the Director's Cut is a worthwhile purchase for anyone looking to step into the shoes of a samurai.

Ghost if Tsushima Director's Cut isn't as revolutionary as its invasion-thwarting subject matter, but it's still a damn nice slice of samurai escapism. If nothing else, Sucker Punch has secured a solid new-gen beachhead to (hopefully) launch a multi-sequel assault.

Ghost of Tsushima arrives on PCs with good graphics quality, performance, and an experience that's almost excellent. If it weren't for a few minor technical issues, this would be the most solid port Nixxes has ever delivered.
