While the story is nonsense and some of the elements don't feel that great, Chorus' high-intensisty space combat is so good it leaves me wanting more every time.

Chorus might ostensibly look like any other space shooter, but, discounting a few annoyances, it has some cool ideas of its own, and frenetic action that will pull you right in like a tractor beam.

There are not that many space combat games out there, so Chorus could be a good pick if you like an action packed and ready-to-go game that doesn't require you to study astrophysics like Elite o Star Citizen. The drawback is that, mechanics wise, Chorus is fairly repetitive, and not that mechanically deep. It could still be a good choice if you're aching to shoot space lasers, but in a couple of hours you might realize you're becoming more of a space tourist than an ace pilot.

Chorus relies a lot on the show and he does it well. With its mystical atmosphere, it offers us a space opera with majestic sets, epic soundtrack and very dynamic space battles. We can, of course, regret the maps too empty outside the missions and a certain repetitiveness of the proposals made in the appendix of the main story, as well as a limited diversity of armament and anecdotal decisions, but the extreme maneuverability of the ship and the feeling of power that we have to pilot it, using the powers at our disposal, is clearly enjoyable.

Chorus is a well-written game, with challenging combats and good characters, but it falls short in the technical ones. It gives the impression that the open maps are wasted and the artistic section -saving the ship of the protagonist- does not seem very careful either.

However, it is a game that I would recommend, at least to enthusiasts of this genre, since despite the above, it is still an experience which we can enjoy for most of its duration, and that probably ends up leaving them wanting more.

In the end, Chorus provided a great experience overall. While a few kinks need working out, the amount of entertainment I got from it greatly surpassed my expectations and will surely satisfy fans of the genre.

Chorus provides both solid space dogfights with intuitive controls and a distinctly presented story that remains engaging throughout. It may have its maddening moments that hold it back from greatness but it's still an impressively promising original IP.

Well rounded, brilliantly designed and engaging, it’s a space shooter with a lot of heart and soul that keeps you on your toes and eager for more.

Chorus is an exceptional space shooter, especially when it comes to the gameplay. It has such tight controls it’s ridiculous. Once you add in the superhuman powers and an incredible universe to explore, then there is even more fun to be had here. The one problem however, is the narrative. Even though it’s a lot of fun to play, there just isn’t enough story content to drive you on, leaving the player feeling empty well before the credits roll.

I had a good amount of fun with Chorus. I walked in looking for a take on the space combat genre that could finally get me invested. There was definitely a good amount of love and care put into this title. The team at Fishlabs has put together something flawed but ultimately really exciting. For years, games based on flying around in space and shooting other space ships just did not appeal. Chorus has changed that and I hope that it does well so the developers will capitalize and make it’s next chapter even better.

‎Chorus seems to have everything. An exciting story about revenge and coming to terms with yourself, beautiful varied environments where there is more than enough to do and a combat system that is always refreshing and forces you to adjust the tactics.‎

Some writing oddities aside, Chorus is a wonderful return to form for the genre.

Chorus is a great game that just doesn’t quite meet its full potential. The amazing story setup doesn’t manage to hit the mark, with lacklustre characters and underwhelming emotional moments. One the other hand, the combat is definitely worth getting into, with some fantastically smooth controls once you get used to them. Fishlabs’ first attempt at a bigger-budgeted game ended up being a good one, and this is worth checking out if you’re in need of a substitute for the Rogue Squadron series of games.

CHORUS is a great arcade in which we will control Nara and we will have to defeat the Circle. Perhaps its open-world structure and some repetition in its secondary missions dilute a story that hooks you from the first minute in a game with a bomb-proof gameplay.

Chorus has exceptional gameplay and a vast expanse to explore within the confines of its planetary system. It unfortunately suffers from a technical issues that hold it back from greatness. And while it may not have the best voice acting or story, it more than makes up for it with its space combat and freedom to explore through its design. Deep Silver Fishlabs have made gameplay the focal point, and it shows. Chorus is the kind of game you can’t get enough of, and have to experience everything as it’s so rich and engaging.

Overall, Chorus is a fun arcade-style space shooter. The open world isn't super engaging, and the plot can be a touch messy, but they're secondary to the fun of piloting your super ship as you spin, shoot lightning, and turn into lasers. If you're in the mood for an entertaining and punchy space shooter with some cool mechanics, then Chorus fits the bill. I wish the plot were better conveyed and there were more variety in side-quests, but that certainly doesn't mar the experience. At the end of the day, you're blowing up Cthulhus with your magic space anime powers, and isn't that all it needs to be?
