Both Sam & Max Save the World and Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space remain great games after all these years. These remasters honor what made the originals special, while simultaneously modernizing the games. Updated graphics, audio, and accessibility features are just a few of the quality-of-life improvements found in these charmingly bizarre yet well-crafted adventures. New players and old fans alike will find plenty to love.

In sum, Skunkape has done another excellent job remastering an old point-and-click gem from the Telltale archives of years past. Though I wouldn’t put the Sam & Max episodic adventures in my all time list for the genre, they do rank highly, and are absolutely worth playing if you enjoy the genre or want to experience some zany plots and characters. We’ll look forward to the third and final remaster hopefully next year.

A fantastic follow up to an amazing remaster. this off the wall adventure takes the core of an iconic set of Freelance's finest and keeps it strange in higher definition. Get Sam & Max Save The World then get this.

Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is another classic comedic caper for Steve Purcell’s iconic detective duo. Some of the goofs are a tad dated, but the rather consistent hilarity and one-of-a-kind tone make it one of the crown jewels of TellTale’s catalogue.

Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space may be the low point of the trilogy, but it's still a laugh out loud game everyone should find entertaining. The remastered visuals are gorgeous, the soundtrack is incredible, and most of the puzzles are fun to solve.

Another great remastering of an already-great title. There isn't too much new here, but it looks lovely and minor quality of life improvements make the difference. If you haven't got the original then this is one to pick up and if you have it's still worth it to play it at its best.

‎Seeing Sam & Max on screen is always a pleasure and I will never tire of saying it. Skunkape also has the merit of taking great care of the IP, something that can be seen from afar with the affection they put into each new compilation they produce. Now we can only hope, quite anxious, of course, that the developers are also encouraged to work on the other installment produced in the past by Telltale; Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse. Will it be a reality in the future? Can we dream of a completely new delivery? Only time has the answer, but in the meantime Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is a great way to wait.‎

Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space is a great follow up for the franchise and Skunkape Games have done an amazing job on implementing the much-needed updates without losing any of the originals charm. Die-hard fans will welcome all the obvious and subtle changes that have been made and the release of a new version on the Switch was definitely a great choice to introduce a new generation of fans to the surreal and insane world of Sam & Max.

Sam & Max make a largely triumphant return, with a reminder of just how special and stupid a series it can be. Save the World benefits the most from the overhaul, but Beyond Time and Space remains the peak of this former Telltale Games series.

Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered is a great follow-up to the first entry in the series, but continuity means it's not the most accessible for newcomers.

Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered was a treat to play through. The game's characters will entertain you from start to end, and all its mechanics have been expertly remade. As such, it is a no-brainer for fans of the series, especially at the reasonable price of $20, and a great suggestion in general to gamers who enjoy a good laugh.

Sam and Max are still crazy and that's the main reason why you will still enjoy this absurd point and click classic.

Sam and Max Beyond Space and Time Remastered targets the same audience as the Save the World Remaster. The same developers, the same recipe, the same heroes and references. So, there was little chance for things to go off-track. Still, Sam and Max Beyond Space and Time Remastered is a precious lesson in how a remaster should be put together. Without altering too much the original content, the developers managed to make the game feel relevant and modern. Just as the previous remaster, this one is mandatory for the nostalgic and the point and click fans.

As someone who played the Sam & Max games back when they first released, I am really loving diving back into these wacky adventures with all of the new quality of life upgrades. I highly recommend Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered for fans of the series. If you’ve never played them before, but like point-and-click adventures and have a twisted sense of humor, then I highly recommend them for you as well.

If I had to describe Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space in one short sentence, it would probably be “a timeless classic”. With high doses of humor that ranges from nonsense to the North American stand-up style, the game is deeply captivating and charismatic. With competent remastering and just a few minor issues, the Switch experience is well worth it.

Sam & Max are back to their old tricks again with a brand new adventure across five unique and exciting episodes. You might end up talking to aliens, defending against a zombie apocalypse, or trying to summon a demon from the beyond to scare a crazed Santa with an uzi – there’s never a dull moment.

Other than the puzzle conundrum, the second season offers more of what made the series a hit. Fans of the first season will greatly enjoy this second run. While it isn't necessary to play the first one to jump on this wagon, it is highly recommended, as there are plenty of returning characters and in-game jokes and references that you might miss if you have not played the first one yet.

It's tricky to review games like this, especially re-releases where many will already know if they want it. The Telltale formula hadn't been scaled back to "interactive cinema" yet, so you're dealing with clunky puzzles and somewhat clunky delivery of clunky comedy, but you might love it. In a sense, each to their own. As a port it's difficult to fault, but as a game it's really no great shakes. But then again, if you dig that lagomorph, it doesn't need to be.
