OlliOlli World plays just as great as its extreme sports predecessors, but its pandering presentation makes the whole package feel like a letdown.

OlliOlli World is a beautiful game, but the gameplay gets very frustrating after the first few worlds.

OlliOlli World continues to kick flip its way across a variety of colorful and imaginative levels. Returning fans will be pleased with this familiar experience sporting a new art style, but newcomers may be put off by eventually increasing difficulty and repetitive trial-and-error nature of the levels.

OlliOlli World stumbles here and there, with a steep difficulty curve and occasional technical hitches, but fans of skateboarding games will find plenty of combo-stringing complexity to enjoy.

I really like OlliOlli World, but I dislike both how I played it and what it becomes. It’s whimsical and relaxed, propelled by vibes and an incredibly addicting gameplay loop, until it isn’t.

For OlliOlli World, I first looked at the predecessors, since I hadn't played them up to that point. Although the current part builds on those, you can feel the improvements not only in the graphics. The demanding gameplay is certainly quite special, because I don't recommend the skater game for casuals. You will only get frustrated. You need time and especially patience to master the controls and complete the levels perfectly. If these "requirements" are met and you enjoy skating, then you are in the right place. The colorful and fun OlliOlli World then knows how to thrill and captivate you. In the end, I enjoyed it so much that I also played the predecessors more intensively. OlliOlli World is a successful video game, which is easy to learn, but hard to perfect with its great variety of tricks.

OlliOlli World is a game that definitely sticks the landing. Every aspect of the game works well in tandem, with the chill soundtrack offsetting the frustrating challenges and the simple control scheme going hand in hand with gameplay that’s difficult to master.

While I might have liked slightly more memorable levels or stronger personality from the supporting cast, OlliOlli World provides hours of skating bliss with rock-solid controls and a great sense of progression. Once you’re in the zone, it’s easy to lose hours as your quest for Gnarvana provides a sense of gaming nirvana. This one’s definitely worth a look.

OlliOlli World is an amazing skateboarding experience through a Cartoon Network-like world. Almost every aspect of this game is enjoyable, except for the dialogues and the not-so-interesting story.

Roll7 have done a cracking job here, providing a fresh-looking, fast paced video game with tons of replayability. It’s slick, speedy, plays well and addictive and embraces the weird, wonderful and diverse side of skateboarding culture. This is a game all about going on a road trip with your friends, finding crazy spots, pulling mad tricks and skating everything in sight.

I thoroughly enjoyed OlliOlli World, especially the fact that its gameplay remains instinctual yet challenging which allows anyone to have fun whether you merely want to skate or aim for the top of the leaderboards. Plus, its trippy visuals and music are spot-on.

OlliOlli World offers an enjoyable easy to learn/hard to master experience. Your love-hate relationship with the game is partially spoiled by its technical flaws.

If you enjoyed Roll7’s previous OlliOlli games, it’s safe to say that you’ll love their evolution into OlliOlli World. Even if you weren’t a fan, there’s more than enough here to entice new players. The controls are accessible and easy to get to grips with, though there’s still plenty of depth for advanced players. Combine that with beautiful visuals, a kicking soundtrack and wonderfully animated characters, and what more could you possibly want? It’s never felt better to land a truly epic trick.

OlliOlli World is a delightfully charming little platformer. It has its own sense of style, and it's dripping with personality. The gameplay is a delightful mix that's easy to pick up and play but difficult to master. If you're looking for something that scratches the Tony Hawk bug, then OlliOlli World succeeds in spades. Just don't get frustrated when your near-perfect run is ruined by a stray cat sitting at the very end of the level.

OlliOlli World is a fantastic addition to the indie landscape that warrants any platforming fan to give it a go, but players uncomfortable with fighting game special moves, or players that don’t like challenging titles will have a rough time.
