Much like the Street Fighter collection before it, Capcom Fighting Collection is a truly stand-out effort to preserve not only the games that were included in the collection, but the artistry and stories behind them. You don’t even need to be a fan of the fighting genre to appreciate just how valuable this approach is to retro compilations… and the unfortunate downside to this effort is that it makes every other retro compilation seem so pedestrian by comparison.

Shifting the spotlight to some more obscure releases was a wise choice, as the set of games included in Capcom Fighting Collection features some of the publisher's weirdest, but enjoyable, fighters.

Capcom Fighting Collection is a great compilation that does nothing wrong. Great games with all the necessary updates to launch in 2022 with nothing special to claim, and even with extras like an off-the-shelf setting. Highly recommended for fans of the genre.

Capcom Fighting Collection sets the new standard all compilation games should be held to. There are a ton of games, though some may complain too many of them are Darkstalkers, accompanied by a suit of wonderful art and music. To top it all off is the fantastic online play and great visual and auditory presentation wrapping it up.

Capcom could go on for years and years just surviving via collections such as this. Their catalog is immense and there’s plenty of hits which players are hungry for in the current gen systems. The games included in Capcom Fighting Collection were among some of the most requested by fans and they should be pleased with how it turned out. If this is any indication to how they are willing to treat older games and update them to modern standards, more power to Capcom to keep releasing these!

Capcom Fighters Collection is yet another example of the utmost respect Capcom has for its back catalogue. Even worse, it'll make you sad that Darkstalkers is dead.

That spark Capcom lit throughout the ’90s is one that changed the fighting game genre forever. And it’s one that’s been dim for quite some time. I’ve never forgotten the creativity it once sprinkled into each release, and I’ve been waiting for that version of the company to return. Time will tell whether Street Fighter 6 indeed brings Capcom back — but Capcom Fighting Collection has me more excited than ever.

‎Capcom Fighting Collection is one of the best collections in terms of fighting games thanks to the 10 games it includes, its variety of characters, scenarios and combat mechanics as an exceptional multiplayer section. A title not to be missed by lovers of fighting games.‎

A fantastic collection for fans of Capcom's golden period, thanks to the rollback, these fighting games gain a second life on the web. A position worthy of interest for all interesting stories, and how unconventional ideas the Japanese once had. It could have been better, but there is no tragedy. Darkstalkers are not dead?

Capcom Fighting Collection gives us ten great titles that collect the best years of the era of the fighting genre, with a complete collection (finally) of the Darkstalkers saga and presenting others not so well known or forgotten. It fulfills its mission, which is to remind us of such admired franchises, however, its greatest attraction is also its biggest drawback, half of these titles are only from the Darkstalkers saga, and since it is a saga that you do not like, you will be able to see how you have almost no options to enjoy this compilation. A compilation created almost exclusively for fans of the Darkstalkers saga, with some additions, such as Red Earth or its museum, as the icing on the cake.

An eclectic selection, even if Alpha 3 Upper is missed, and contains some games that were heretofore exclusive to arcades and/or Japan, presented in a supremely polished fashion. A must have for any fan of Capcom's fighting glory.

I love Capcom Fighting Collection. It pays respect to the company’s past, all while giving players a brand new (and refined) way to play some of the best fighting and puzzle games of all time, complete in one, smooth-as-silk, pristinley remastered package. Its online play is reliable, its presentation is sublime, and its extras are satisfactory.

The Capcom Fighting Collection includes no less than 10 titles from the Osaka-based company's catalog. And among them, 5 are from the Darkstalkers saga. It's a good compilation of retro games.

Your dose of nostalgia, especially from 90s fighting games, will be realized with the Capcom Fighting Collection. With ten unique games to choose from, it’s definitely worth the price of admission especially if you’re a die-hard fighting fan looking for a great time by yourself or with competitive play. As a fighting game casual, I still found myself enjoying the single-player options that many of these titles offered. Whether it be for the more popular titles like Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and Hyper Street Fighter II or the more obscure ones like Cyberbots and Red Earth, the Capcom Fighting Collection is a superb compilation that shows the great lineage of Capcom titles.
