If you have had a bad day and what to let off some steam, Teardown is the game for you. Similarly, if you want to solve puzzles and pull off amazing heists, this is the game! I thoroughly enjoyed my playthru of the various modes and loved not only how simple it is to learn, but also how intricate and destructive it can be. The voxel graphics look amazing and the physics engine is a true marvel.

Teardown is one of the most fun games I have played this year. The combination of destructible environments and timed heists never gets old. Not quite mindless, Teardown is still a great way to turn your brain off and just blow stuff up. It is packed with so much content that you likely won't get bored of anytime soon.

Teardown is everything that drew me to video games in the first place. It gives me something I’ve never seen before with its voxel sandbox and marries it with cutting-edge graphics technology. If I was still a kid and you asked me if I wanted to play Monopoly or with the fully-fueled excavator that someone just left in the yard, you can be sure I’m gonna be outside digging up holes and breaking things. Teardown satiates my urge to be destructive while offering nearly endless opportunities through mod support. Calling it a game may be a bit of a stretch on account of its loose structure, but you can’t argue with the fun.

Teardown is superb. The perfect mix of creative gameplay, sandbox destruction and a rewarding gameplay loop add up to something truly special. I could not put it down, as I was constantly thinking about how to complete each objective and it let my creative juices flow. Teardown is one of my favourite games this year and is truly unique in an increasingly repetitive medium.

Spend ages planning with explosives and cables only to see it fail again and again - until it doesn't. Teardown is fantastic fun.

Teardown is one of the most satisfying games I’ve ever played. The Campaign has some wonky design that can be a bit of a slog, but the mechanics behind destruction and the sheer joy that comes from knocking over huge structures are simply incredible. If you feel like just wrecking some stuff, this is the game for you.

Small but perfectly formed, if you get any joy at all out of smashing things to smithereens, there's hours of fun to be had with Teardown.

This game is as every bit of fun as it looks. Each mission gives you as much time as you need to drive vehicles into walls or just drive a front-end loader straight through a house. The first mission makes you take down a house for a land development company and I didn’t swing the hammer once, instead, I was straight in with the front-end loader, but after a few runs, I lost the bucket and started taking damage. Costly, but in the end, it was all worth it.

Teardown looks and feels unreal, even though the engine used isn’t what you may think. The game uses a proprietary game engine developed by Tuxedo Labs founder Dennis Gustafsson, and it clearly utilizes that engine down to every last voxel. If you’re feeling creative, you can enter Teardown‘s Sandbox mode. You take the wheel when it comes to the game’s pre-made levels. And if you want to make your own levels, the game’s intuitive Creative mode will do just that. You can even access some of the top mods made by the PC community on console via Mod Pack 1. It’s an excellent idea because for games like, the hype can be kept alive by simply letting your community run wild. When it comes to content, you’ll never find yourself looking with Teardown. In fact, multiple DLCs are in the works, and Time Campers launches alongside the Teardown next-gen console version.

Teardown is a beautiful game set in a world that’s more destructible than anything in games before, allowing players complete control over a voxel sandbox. The detail of the world and physics is nothing short of amazing and will be studied by developers for years to come. With the extensive possibilities of content already in the game and modding, players will never run out of things to destroy.

Teardown is an incredible heist simulator built in a very detailed voxel world that would put any other game like it to shame. With the nearly endless options to lower or raise the difficulty, Sandbox and Creative Modes, tons of tools to unlock and choose from, and the ability to mod the game, Teardown is definitely a game that can appeal to any type of gamer regardless of their skill level. Going on heists or just coming for rampant destruction, there’s always a good time to be had.

Teardown is a game that clearly shows that the devs care a lot about their audience and that they want players to have as much fun as they possibly can have with their game. The game is certainly an interesting one with its demolition and heist mechanics that is paired perfectly with beautiful lighting and satisfying sound design. Teardown is definitely something you should check out.

Blowing stuff up is fun, and Teardown gets that. Its varied voxel environments combine with nuanced physics and deformation systems to make levelling buildings, eviscerating vehicles, and orchestrating massive explosions a thrill. An inconsistent campaign and lack of multiplayer don't keep it from setting a new standard for video game destruction.

Teardown on PS5 is a great adaptation of the mayhem filled sandbox simulator that fans loved on PC. It plays well, performs great, and while there are a few minor issues like the cumbersome user interface, Teardown is a great time nevertheless.
