My final thought on Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is that while the gameplay is fast and fluid and easy for most of the game. I just can’t ignore the bland and boring story. It goes on way too long and it’s way too predictable. Along with bad performance graphics-wise and a non-excictent multiplayer. The soundtrack is one that truly stands out.

Fire Emblem should be the perfect partner for Dynasty Warriors style action, but this incompetently made crossover squanders its potential on trite fan service and hollow gameplay.

t takes just enough from Fire Emblem: Three Houses to please fans of the renowned strategy RPG, but dubious writing and a wobbly progression system darken the mood.

All in all, if you enjoyed Hyrule Warriors and like that format mixed with the Fire Emblem setting then you should absolutely check out Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

In this way, familiarity and the sense of game-universe expansion is a draw I can see tugging at the sleeve of only the most ardent of uniformed Fire Emblem devotees, but so much so they will be rewarded for going all in here.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes introduces different elements compared to its predecessor and seems to give us a hybrid experience between the Fire Emblem and Dynasty Warriors series, and a competent game at that too. With its tripartite story lines that will intersect during the game, dynamic combat, as well as fun and motivating gameplay, Three Hopes could benefit from more variety in its missions but overall, what we have here is a very competent and well executed game that combines some of the best elements of the two series it's inspired in.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a refreshing take on the musou genre, demanding a more strategic approach that earns it the "Fire Emblem" name. Fans of this world will find plenty to enjoy - as will those seeking a new and improved musou formula. The experience suffers from some pacing issues and can become repetitive, but on the whole it's well worth playing for those looking for a new take on the Three Houses lore - or those who simply want to experience a deft reinterpretation of the musou genre.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a slow burner, but once everything comes together, it provides some of the better Musou madness, but now with a better story and much-improved character development, which shows how short the Fire Emblem element was in the original Fire Emblem Warriors. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a recommended title for Musou and Fire Emblem: Three Houses fans, which will keep you entertained until the next entry hits.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes feels tailor made for the relatively small cross-section of people who are both hardcore fans of Musou and Fire Emblem. That isn't to say you won't enjoy this if you liked Three Houses, there's a lot that Three Hopes has to offer on a first playthrough, just be ready for the repetition to set in if you want to see it all through to the end.

With Fire Emblem Three Hopes, Omega Force once again proves its ability to unite opposing universes and create an adaptation that works almost perfectly. Provided you have a strong liver and can withstand repetitiveness that can quickly become indigestible. Three Hopes inherits nearly all of the genre's inherent flaws, but manages to gloss over them with deep gameplay and exhilarating micro-management, provided you're fond of that sort of thing. Addictive in its own way, the game is nonetheless too long for its own good. To consume with moderation.

Three Hopes features the often repetitive combat style developer Omega Force is renowned for, but enough dedicated Fire Emblem mechanics exist to make it feel like something more than a simple spin-off.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a fairly solid game. Mechanics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses integrate well with the traditional Warriors-gameplay, and the characters and setting of Fódlan remain interesting even three years after the release of Three Houses. Sadly, the gameplay can get tiresome, as you are always either fighting, or making your troops better prepared for battle. Even though there is a lot of content to discover, we frequently found ourselves wanting to put the game down for a while.

The sheer scale and depth of this game's commitment to matching Three Houses' style and structure made for a very pleasant surprise that sadly made it even more disappointing when the ending fell as flat as it did. Almost overnight I went from not being able to get enough of the game to wondering if I had it in me to play even one more of the game's three story routes. Three Hopes is a must play for diehard fans of both Fire Emblem and Dynasty Warriors alike, but I almost wish that it had committed less to the scale of its story so that its poor final hours weren't so much of a bitter pill to swallow.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is Omega Force's finest musou yet, with a fun tactical layer added to the sword-swinging gameplay that keeps fans coming back. Three Houses fans will love the chance to spend more time with that game's characters, too.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes may initially seem like just another musou, but it possesses some elements that serve as a link to the illustrious Fire Emblem series. This gives it a distinct identity, but at the heart of the combat, the mechanics of the series will inexorably feel like something already seen. Great for fans, a little less so for others: if you're not afraid of a challenge, play by enabling the permanent death of fallen warriors. It will help you better enjoy all the possibilities the game offers.
