Definitely, 'Stray' manages to captivate from its beginning to its last breath, taking us to a world where secrets are hidden in every corner and unusual relationships take center stage. The brave choice to present the narrative through the eyes of a cat adds a level of immersion and empathy that few games can match. The fusion between futuristic technology and the natural beauty of felines creates a unique and captivating atmosphere that completely immerses you in their history.

Stray is a charming 'cat adventure' that succeeds in making us identify with the little feline protagonist and in making us experience its beautiful from the point of view of this agile creature. The interesting story could have had a better ending and some sections are a little too tiring or repetitive, but if you like original and different titles, and especially if you love cats, this is definitely a game to try.

Even though Stray from BlueTwelve Studio has been out for a year, it’s still a joy to play on the Xbox Series X. The story is still a wonderful journey, the gameplay is still easy-peasy, and the visuals are still out of this-world gorgeous.

Stray is a wonderfully crafted game. It not only manages to successfully immerse you in the role of an adorable cat, where exploration is key, but it also tells an engaging science-fiction story along the way.

Stray is an awesome looking game, with a neon-cyberpunk world that feels like it is alive. The run-time is short enough that the gameplay loop of solving puzzles via finding random items scattered throughout the world is well complemented from sequences that require running from area to area without getting caught by local mutated predators. While Stray is pretty to look at and is fun while it lasts the limitations of movement and rather simplistic puzzles hold this back from being greater than it could have been.

But that’s all: it’s a good little game. I enjoyed it, but I highly doubt I’ll go back to it. My time with Stray didn’t change my life or make me rethink gaming or give me bold new insight into what it means to be alive. It was a game, and I appreciate that it exists, and that’s sort of it. If you can wait till you can play it on Gamepass or the like, I think it’s perfectly acceptable to wait. If you are unfathomably into cats and cyberpunk, then sure, pick this up. But as for me? I’ve had my Fancy Feast fill, and now I’m going to wander off into the tall grass. Just like I was taught.

Stray is an adventure with a simple but effective story, a varied and well-paced development, and a cat as the protagonist, what more could you ask for? In addition, the cyberpunk setting is perfectly represented and visually the BlueTwelve Studio game is remarkable. We have no excuse not to accompany our beloved feline on his journey through the abandoned city in search of the exit to the outside.

Stray successfully translates the typical behavior of a cat into a fun and cohesive gameplay experience set within an intriguing sci-fi world.

Stray brings with it a short but unique experience. Whether you're walking through cities or rubbing up against the legs of robots, you're sure to find minute, smiley-sketchy details, the result of the incredible work of not only Bluetwelve, but also Annapurna for betting on them.

Stray is a short but sweet adventure game that will warm your heart. Few titles meld puzzles, world-building, and well-written characters so harmoniously. Though Stray is rough around the edges, it's a promising first title from BlueTwelve Studios with so much to appreciate. If you're in the market for a relaxing title with an adorable protagonist, invest in Stray, the cutest release of 2022. Come for the cat; stay for the adventure!

It’s been a while since I've been this engrossed in a video game world, but Stray is a journey that wouldn’t have worked if it wasn’t explored through a cat’s perspective. I sucked in as much of the game as I could because it was a joy to do so, and I was left emotionally invested towards the end. Some will be turned off by Stray’s short campaign, but there’s enough here to make the experience feel complete.

You won't find a better representation of a cat in a video game, this stylish narrative adventure innovates strongly overall but feels derivative in others, but Stray is at its best when you're just being a cat roving through this compelling world

“I’ll hack the machine and you’ll destroy some stuff,” says B-12 at one point in the final act. With that line, the game unintentionally reveals what it thinks of its cat protagonist. Despite being flesh and blood, the cat never needs food, water, or sleep; never hisses in anger at having to undertake a task; never bristles at the sight of a Zurk horde, at least not outside of one cutscene; and, aside from a few seconds of slower-than-usual animation, never seems injured by any major falls. Which is to say that if Stray had made even more room for moments that were alive to what it’s like to be a cat but also feel as one, then it might not have left us with the nagging feeling that the critter at its center is a calculated means to an end.

Stray is an adorable game that has you playing as a cat that fetches things for robots in order to get outside of a large underground shelter. You run away from Zurks and security droids as the villains in this game with very smooth controls other than it not having a dedicated jump button.

It’s a bitter-sweet game with a refreshing lens on the post-apocalyptic trope developers keep milking. What makes it stand out is that it deviates from the crowd that tries to scratch the superficial itch to just wreak havoc in the digital world, it’s a landscape of purrsibilities. So, go ahead; go astray.

There is something very satisfying about a game exceeding your expectations. Amazingly, a simple concept could be delightful. Almost every aspect of Stray is great. An epitome of what an indies game should be. It is a shame that the story was short.

Stray is the perfect game to rest. Be in a trance and let yourself be guided by the path in front of you. The game does not ask its player to put himself in a stressful situation. This is not too much in a world where there are many sources of stress and conflict. The puzzles are relatively easy for young and old alike. Well, we agree that if the game asked us to embody a dog it would be even better. Who knows, maybe the idea is already germinating in the studio's head. For now, we'll just purr and bend our backs. And let's not forget the nap. I like naps.
