DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is a third-person on-rails shooter based on the 2022 movie of the same name. Admittedly I haven’t seen it, so I won’t comment on if the game is enhanced prior to viewing. Maybe the movie adds something to the game. I don’t know.

DC League of Super-Pets is a game suitable for children and families, with uncomplicated control and easy understanding of the game, what hinders it is the repetition and the limitation of what can be done in the game

Although there's a very repetitive nature to the game, it is a very good compliment to the movie. Its very accessible which is perfect for a young audience and the progression system is actually pretty good. Even though I don't think it will please the older generations, it should make your kids smile a lot.

DC League of Super-Pets is the perfect title for younger gamers. Its simple approach, colourful aesthetics, and catchy one-liners will be a hit. On the other hand, older gamers and parents will shut off to its mundane and repetitive ways.

Glitchy and low-budgeted as it might be, DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace has a great foundation for one of the best Star Fox clones released in years. It nails everything it needed in order to offer a younger demographic an entry-level version of a rail shooter, with a great gameplay loop, some educational value, and a fair, but ever-increasing difficulty curve that’s perfectly suited for them.

In my family, DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is a tale of two gamers. For me, I thought the game offered decent fun, the type of game I'd play and platinum over the weekend and likely not touch again. But my child's experience was much better, he's totally into the game and had incredible fun playing it.

Although not the worst movie tie-in-game, DC League of Super-Pets The Adventures of Krypto and Ace does have its moments that again is for that younger gamer. Nonetheless, a canine distraction of not-quite super-heroic proportions!
