Crazy shootings, a successful script that mixes comedy with clichés, and not least a graphic restoration of the highest level, make Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed an excellent remake that we are convinced will entertain both those who have already loved the saga, as well as players who have never approached it before.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed is not hard to recommend for gamers who missed it the first time around, or remember it fondly and want to play it again. It looks, sounds and controls like a current title, and most of the jokes hold up just fine. Not all the gameplay mechanics and mission designs feel that fresh anymore, and it can feel simplistic and repetitive against the backdrop of recent action games. Like the remake of the original Destroy All Humans!, it’s hard not to wish that Black Forest had gone further into actual reboot territory, because the narrative bones, characters, and style could be something special in a more open-world, contemporary game.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed is yet another solid remake of a franchise that somehow hit a downward spiral after the first couple outings. This remake is definitely a lot of fun even if it screams a product of its time. There are some things that have not aged well, but I had a lot of fun with what is here. I would love to finally see a new game now, do NOT remake Big Willy Unleashed…I beg you. As it stands this latest remake is great, I just wonder how well it will do being limited to only new consoles as well as PC.

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is a really good game that doesn’t take itself seriously. In some ways, it’s a relic from another era, a reminder of how simple and fun games used to be; a time before the endless grind. Heck, there’s even couch multiplayer, once a standard feature in games that has slowly faded out over the years. Despite its heritage, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed feels and plays modern enough with refined controls, decent visuals, and enough over-the-top fun to easily overlook the few shortcomings.

Destroy all Humans 2: Reprobed catches us in a great funny, spicy and frantic story. Do not miss the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of Crypto and use all the arsenal that is at your disposal to save the planet.

Overall, in around 10-15 hours you can finish (again) the second chapter of the Furon invasion on Earth. The co-op mode is a welcome extra, that elevates the fun, while the four different difficulty levels keep the challenge in check. There are moments though when the game could have used a bit more balancing, like the fight with Gojira. Even with all the new improvements Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed remains a AA title that offers a glimpse in the PS2 era.

The remake of Destroy All Humans 2 takes what worked in the previous remake and polishes things up to remove a good chunk, but not all, of the jank that made its predecessor feel a tad bit disappointing at times. It’s still short, and it’s nowhere near as feature-filled as other open world games in the market, but there’s nothing else that looks and feels like this delightfully dumb title out there.

Destroy All Humans! 2 is a fun and chaos-filled production. But most importantly, it has been adapted to be played fluently today.

Learning some lessons from the first remake, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed managed to maintain the quality level with good news. Crypto continues to live crazy adventures full of missions, collectibles, weapons and very cool skills. Unfortunately, technical issues permeate the game and limit an experience that is positive, but could be even better.

Crypto’s arsenal of weapons and abilities make a return, from his trusty old Zap-O-Matic gun to his Psychokinesis ability allowing Crypto to throw objects and his enemies flying. This all feels even better with how tight and responsive the gunplay and combat feel in general. While the classic 3rd person-style combat is simple, it works, and using all the different weapons and abilities at your disposal can be a lot of fun.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed has been improved upon and offers some great comedic writing for its characters and some solid action but is limited by its 2007 origins.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is a saucy game full of foul-mouthed characters and silly antics. Fans of the original, which I'm definitely one of, will love this new remake that totally revamps the graphics while retaining the classic gameplay. It's too bad the game is so bug-ridden though as those moments stunk of serious Ark-doo-doo. Still, with probing this fun, I was easily compelled to see this invasive operation all the way through.

Overall, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed is a decent remake. It’s nothing too special but nothing too bad either. I would probably say it’s better than an average remake. The biggest win for me here is that they’ve stuck with good performance over better visuals, kept the soul of the original source material, and it plays like the original but with far better visuals and some small gameplay improvements. Voice acting is also solid, and the dialogue is a breath of fresh air. While it does has its cringe here and there, it’s still funny and goofy in its own way.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed does a great job remastering Destroy All Humans 2 but clearly shows its age. The game looks great but the large variety of bugs really detracts from the overall experience. The game’s story is comedic despite not aging with the times unless you look at it satirically.

Solid and definitely have an audience. There could be some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.

The judgment on Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed is very similar to that given for the remake of the first episode, two years ago: a game that under a renewed graphics doesn't bring anything new compared to its original incarnation. A nice and light pastime for those who miss the series or for those who have never approached it. Excessive ease is its biggest flaw, because it leaves wide prairies to boredom when you realize that it all boils down to a series of tasks to be done with the brain off, and comic skits that make the cinema verse of the '50 and '60.

Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed is a beautifully done remake of a cult classic that fans are sure to enjoy. There are some bugs and glitches that still need to be ironed out and the boss battles are more exhausting than truly challenging. But, praise be to Arkvoodle.

When looking at the original release, Destroy All Humans 2! improved on its predecessor in almost every way. For the most part, this rings true with Reprobed, with the visual and mechanical overhaul bringing it into the modern scene. Still, the rough technical issues and poorly aged missions may have newcomers shying away.

A glossy and streamlined remake of a cult classic faithfully updates the experience for modern audiences but struggles to make much of an impression nearly twenty years after the original release.
