JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Reviews
Ultimately, Jojo All Star Battle R is a title that can entertain for a long time, but with numerous reservations: if you are a fan of JoJo and want to have fun in single or with friends locally, this product will offer you a gigantic roster, with iconic characters and animated with extreme care, moved by a simple and intuitive combat system.

While you won't find an Evo-calibre fighting game here depth-wise, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R is miles ahead of your typical 3D-arena anime fighter affair. It would be a hard game to recommend to someone unfamiliar with the franchise, as without the fan service aspect you're left with a basic fighter with some barebones modes. However, for those who adore JoJo, it's an excellent example of how to do fan service right, and one where you can feel the love and adoration of the franchise's 35-year history flowing through every part of the package.
It's such a shame that the game's online suite is so behind the times, because All Star Battle R is an otherwise brilliant ode to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. A technical fighter that's always deserved a second chance.
An amazing Jojo game, but a less than perfect fighting game. The massive roster and upgrades to the combat systems and visuals from the previous edition make this the definitive way to play Jojo's All Star Battle. However, while enjoyable to fight offline, the poor netcode makes playing online a nightmare at times. The single player and local multiplayer experience somewhat makes up for this, but it's a hard sell for those who aren't already fans of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
It's a lot of fun to experience JoJo’s eccentric and ostentatious battles in solid yet boilerplate offline modes, but online struggles often knock the wind out of it.
If you're a fan of this franchise it will likely be just what you're looking for. If not, get ready for a helluva ride...
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a fast-paced fighting title that can be played solo or with others. Furthermore, it captures every essence of the franchise and capitalises on many of the much-loved characters. With interesting stage design and tough but enjoyable challenges to complete, this will be enjoyed by many gamers.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is an excellent fighter that does bode its niche base well, and could potentially extend beyond that inviting more fans into its never-ending lore.
Its online modes are bland, and its gameplay is really sluggish for modern fighting game standards, but the sheer amount of content and fan service make JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R a must-have for fans of this utterly ludicrous but endearing franchise.
Although Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a great fighting game that Jojo fans should not miss, it missed the opportunity to fully reach its potential due to poor netcode selection and some shortcomings on the online side.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is the best game based on Araki's manga, a must for fans due to the affection with which it recreates the license and its fun combat system. However, its limited variety of modes hurts the whole.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R isn’t a huge reinvention of the 2013 title, but it doesn’t have to be to please its intended audience.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R’s weighty combat is a bit of an acquired taste, but the sheer amount of fanservice on display will appeal to those who have a knack for the bizarre.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a beautiful retelling of a great and little-known fighting game based on one of today's most beloved franchises. With beautiful graphics, satisfying mechanics and lots of content, the remaster lacks a limited, unstable and outdated online model, in addition to little (or no) narrative context for newcomers in this bizarre world.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a solid remaster of the original game, packed with brand new features and characters and is a real love letter to fans of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. The overall art style is very reminiscent of Hirohiko Araki’s original manga and has plenty of nods to the original manga and anime thrown in that fans of the series will really appreciate.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R may not be a 100% new product, but it manages to kill the longing for fans who were bitter about the previous title in the series. Even leaving those who don't know the characters in the dark, its performance improvements make it a great fighting game, with a varied cast and a lot of charisma.
