The PS5 may not be the best place to play Hi-Fi Rush, since it seems to demand a lower latency than the regular Dualsense controllers offer. That being said, it's still an excellent game that's well worth your time. The music is top notch, the visuals are great and the gameplay is jam-packed with slick action. Just consider playing it on a different system or replacing your controller with one that's more high-end.

Hi-Fi Rush arrives on PlayStation 5 in its best form, offering its wonderful mix of action and rythym gameplay. Fun to play, wonderful to look at and satisfying to listen to, Tango Gameworks' title could only do better in the implementation of DualSense, because otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.

I thought I was going to love Hi-Fi Rush, but I didn’t. There is the kernel of something interesting here. Maybe if they used house music and had the player blending tracks during attacks it might have been more musically engaging. It’s a game that would have worked much better for me in arcade-y, short bursts, because playing through the levels was a slog. The gameplay is so simple that it actually might work well as an intro action game for someone new to the genre. But there are way better rhythm games, and way better third person action games out there. I know a lot of people love Hi-Fi Rush, so if you’re curious I would still give it a chance, but my experience was underwhelming.
Playing Hi-Fi RUSH is still an amazing experience. On the PS5, the smooth 4K 60fps graphics and use of the DualSense controller make the game even more enjoyable. This rhythm-based action game feels more immersive.

Although it has flaws, Hi-Fi RUSH is an excellent video game thanks to its exquisite combat system and memorable characters. The port for PlayStation 5 is very simple, but we're glad to know that more people will be able to play one of the best games of 2023. Hi-Fi Rush may not have been successful the first time, but now it’s available to even more players on PlayStation 5. First, it was only accessible via the Xbox Game Pass, but now it’s available to purchase on its own and a physical version will also finally be available thanks to Limited Run Games. The bright and colourful characters, environments, enemies, bosses and more, all playing along to the beat, make this a must-buy for any console it’s available on. Marrying the very best of the action-combat genre with the satisfaction of a rhythm game, Hi-Fi Rush is a titanic achievement that offers plenty of both style and substance. Luscious animations, appealing character designs and a hilarious cast help to elevate this title beyond the level of enjoying for the gameplay alone, I was here for the story too. Learning curves and a few too many dry spells in the main campaign do very little to dampen this rocking good time, a must play for action fans.
Hi-Fi Rush comes back to the stage in a pitch-perfect port that may well be the best version of the game. It looks gorgeous and runs flawlessly, with the DualSense features being a great addition to the game.
Hi-Fi Rush is a gorgeous rhythm-action game with a strong cast of characters, addictive gameplay, and an incredible musical score. The game has a ton of replayability with the way its structured, allowing you to improve your timings to perform better in the game's rhythmic combat. This is an essential title for PS5 owners, and we're glad Xbox has allowed us to finally experience it.
Summing up, "Arcade Challenge Update!" is a totally free package that adds further value to the already excellent gaming proposal of Hi-Fi Rush.

Hi-Fi Rush continues to provide to an already complete experience with it's latest update that brings 2 new game modes to the table. While I believe that it won't do much to attract new players who already settled to some of the more noteworthy highlights of the year, this should please the dedicated fans of the game and players who adore rhythm games that have added depth and challenging game modes. I certainly hope that future updates bring more to the table the way the Hi-Fi Rush Arcade Challenge! update did.
The first free update of Hi-Fi Rush meets the needs of hardcore fans, offering challenges that can not only test your skills, but also incentivize their replayability to get better scores and all special rewards. The "Arcade Challenge!" update therefore provides new life to one of the biggest surprises of this 2023, embellished by the fact that it is not a paid DLC, but a simple free update.

Hi-Fi Rush is just impressive. Not only coming of a studio that focuses on Terror, but also for showing us a new IP in a way different genre we would expect from Tango. The game have a lot of heart and is visually stunning, its accessibility features are great for people that isn't good for Rhythm games or just wanna have a breezy time.
