I’m not a hardcore racing or motocross fan, which is something that should be taken into consideration by anyone reading this review. I’m a lifelong sports gamer who loves a balance between simulation and fun. MES6 isn’t a perfect title, but it feels like Milestone has taken significant steps toward delivering a well-rounded experience for hardcore and more casual fans. If the features in place are expounded upon next year, it could climb a spot in my rotation.

Monster Energy Supercross 6 feels like a victory lap for the series. It's a podium finish without a doubt, but they're going to need to raise the bar for the next race to ensure they take home the championship instead of a second-place trophy.

While not hugely different from last year's, Supercross Park and the tweaks to gameplay make Monster Energy Supercross 6 worth checking out.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6 is a highly polished, excellent entry to the Monster Energy Supercross series that has me excited to keep coming back for more races. The updates to the game's physics especially had me feeling like I was more in control of my riding experience than ever before. Unfortunately, the Supercross Academy contributed very little to this improved experience and the new Rhythm Attack mode left something to be desired as well.

The judgment on SX6 does not differ much from that of the previous episode: Milestone has continued on the path traced last year, focusing on an even more accessible and customizable driving model to satisfy a wider audience.

Monster Energy Supercross 6 offers another deep career mode to satiate those looking for an immersive experience with longevity while offering up a fully integrated online suite for those looking to take the action online. If suiting up and getting dirty in some of the most iconic venues in the United States is your type of fun, adding Monster Energy Supercross 6 to the rotation is something you won't regret, and chances are the title might find a spot in that rotation for quite some time.

This new iteration feels fun for both bike-enthusiasts and newcomer alike, but it's still an old-gen game and it shows.

A great physics system and various modes to play keep Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6 afloat amidst some technical issues and an uninspired aesthetic. Recommended for motocross fanatics only.

With a deep and fun career mode, online cross-play, and enough modes to keep anyone busy, Monster Energy Supercross 6 is the best game in the history of the series.

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 6 remains a great game in its segment, with solid mechanics, competent visuals and a good level of challenge. However, it innovates very little compared to its predecessors and maintains some of the franchise's chronic problems.

The new addition to the motocross series from Milestone does not bring anything groundbreaking compared to older games, but it is a little closer to reality.

A dented chassis for what otherwise has a solid engine, Monster Energy Supercross 6 makes some adjustments to accommodate newcomers, but if you played others before, you’ve most likely already played this one. There’s a decent physics-based racer here, just the presentation doesn’t cross the finish line.

With several significant upgrades that make its core modes more compelling, Monster Energy Supercross 6 is the sizable upgrade that this yearly franchise needed.

I can’t help but constantly feel like this game, or its predecessor, could have just been part of a cheaper upgrade DLC pack, or something akin to what Konami did with PES before its demise a couple of years ago. There’s just no reason for Monster Energy Supercross 6 to be a full-fledged game. If you really want a supercross game and don’t own a single one so far, then sure, Monster Energy Supercross 6 is an excellent choice. But if you already own any of its predecessors, just stick to them.

While this game is largely an incremental upgrade to past versions, its improvement make Supercross 6 the perfect time for newcomers curious about the sport to hop on board. I somewhat wonder where the game can go from here, because it really checks all the boxes now and carries my recommendation for fans of real racing experiences. Given how I have so little negative to say, I feel it has most certainly earned a score bump.

Monster Energy Supercross 6 - The Official Videogame is the sixth game in a saga of official videogames of the most famous motocross competition on the planet. You will like it if your thing is adrenaline and speed. If you've already tried other previous games and you've been left wanting more, this is definitely your game. It has a much higher level of customization than other games of the type and even its own previous editions.

After years of tweaking, Milestone releases a true competitor to one of their best supercross games, “Monster Energy Supercross 3”. Its sixth iteration improves in nearly every aspect of the gameplay — from physics to a better career management. The downside? Not so great pilot models and a wonky multiplayer, something that I am more than glad to look past if it means spending more time on the track.

Despite the improvements and news but also some defects and edges still to be cleared, especially from a technical point of view, this sixth edition of AMA Supercross will make more difference for those who have not played any of the previous editions. If you still have the fifth edition around, the changes are not of great importance, so it will make more sense to wait for a next edition.
