The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story Reviews
Mageseeker's gorgeous pixel art aesthetic and exciting action combat, paired with interesting mechanics, make this a game that even non-League of Legends fans should check out.
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is another compelling spin-off from Riot Forge. Despite some imperfections, it offers fun gameplay, a well-realized world and a likable, if headstrong, protagonist.
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is an interesting title that allows you to delve into a very vast world, full of magic and stories to tell. This spin-off allows you to go into detail about the history of some heroes, opening the doors of League of Legends even to those who are not attracted by MOBAs. The development team has managed to create a solid and well-constructed product. The story has a good narrative: it's not perfect, but still interesting. The gameplay is full of action, with different stages and enemies. It starts with simple attacks and moves to complex sets of satisfying combinations.

Mageseeker is crafted with care to appeal for the League of Legends fans who are picking up this game to follow Sylas through his past, with an engaging gameplay that just fits his character, but it sadly fell short in terms of the story telling which made the point of this game weaker.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a fantastic action RPG and a worthy spin-off. If you like fast-paced top-down action, give this one a shot.
Even if this project related to Riot Games is a big step forward for the developers, Moonlighter fans will probably think of it as a step back. It's a neat game and its fun mechanics work great, but the gameplay often feels monotonous.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a great production derived from the franchise full of good hits. As an action RPG, it's dynamic, fast and has a lot of style, even if it suffers from a not always inspired story and a certain aesthetic pollution. The combat diversity guarantee high fun from beginning to end of the campaign.

The Mageseeker has consciously drawn its line. It didn't go overboard, but it made an enjoyable game within the known and familiar boundaries of the hack and slash genre. Not to mention the fact that it answers existing questions instead of further complicating the story of League of Legends.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story manages to retain the essence of what it is to play Sylas, but suffers from consistency issues with its storytelling.
The Mageseeker is a simple but fun game. Despite taking an existing experience, it manages to satiate the desire to know more of this universe through relatively accessible experiences. Whether you're a LoL fan who wants to see Sylas' story explored in a game of their own, or just a fan of Action RPG pixel art, it's a proposal capable of reaching good times, even if it doesn't reach the level of the biggest indie references.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story comes together to deliver yet another great off-shoot offering of the League of Legends brand. If an action RPG that forces you to be calculated in your approach that is married with an engrossing story about a social revolution sounds appealing to you then this is one to pick up.
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a fun and recommendable ARPG game set in the world of League of Legends, just like we could see with the popular Netflix series Arcane, only this time we'll experience the events embodying Sylas, learning more about his past, about his ambitions and his goals. A game with great and careful graphic and sound sections, as well as a story that can be played perfectly even if we are not fans of the franchise, since it becomes quite interesting and encourages the player to continue playing to discover all its secrets and explaining the plot. all those important details of the LOL world.

The Mageseeker is an enjoyable action RPG experience if you're into 2D pixel art, fun-if-simple action mechanics where you take magic & sling it back, and everything in-between. The League of Legends lore expanding of Demacia and its cast are also a treat, but I'm honestly in it for the simple gameplay loop and the challenges it poses along the way. Keep at it with these spin-off bangers, Riot Forge!
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a great invitation for those who want to know more or simply start their journey through the rich mythological world of Runeterra. With satisfying and exciting combat, this aspect is a good draw for anyone who enjoys action games. It's not formidable, but it shows the quality of Riot Forge's ability to create experiences with different approaches using League of Legends intellectual property.

The guys from Digital Sun show us that Moonlighter was not a flash in the pan and with this The Mageseeker they bring us another quite enjoyable product that will also delight lovers of the League of Legends universe. Although those who are not fans of this universe will miss a greater ambition in the project, the truth is that it is a very enjoyable product independently and accessible to all types of audiences.

Despite a simple gameplay loop and basic level design, The Mageseeker is a joyous, and addictive game to play. The repetitiveness never wears out the combat, which continues to keep the player fully engaged.
The Mageseeker is definitely a title that could have been great, thanks to the way it expands the Sylas lore in League of Legends. But until a corrective patch comes out to fix the many bugs present, it can't be more than a decent title.
