Tin Hearts Reviews
Tin Hearts tells a moving story through a wonderful narrative, smart puzzles, and one of the most beautiful scores written for a video game.
An atmospherically rich puzzle game with an intriguing backstory and simple but layered gameplay. Too bad about a few too many stumbles on Nintendo Switch and near-zero replayability.

Tin Hearts is a charming Lemmings spiritual successor with a moving story that's perfectly presented with gorgeous visuals and relaxing music. The few bugs and frame rate issues aren’t enough to prevent us recommending this excellent title. This isn’t one to march on by.
Overall Tin Hearts takes its players on an emotional journey through the charming world of the Butterworth household.
Tin Hearts is a lovely little puzzler that's engaging and emotional in equal measure. It takes all the right inspiration from Lemmings but manages to stand on its own two feet with a unique visual style, clever mechanics, and a wonderful narrative told effortlessly during gameplay. Technical hiccups pull it back from true greatness, including a choppy frame rate and jarring camera movements, but if you're after a relaxing puzzler that's not too taxing on the ol' noggin, then you really can't go too wrong with this.
Tin Hearts is a game that offers that something that goes beyond and that you can only discover by giving it a chance, in which you will learn the value of family and understand that there are things that usually divert us from it, however, we always have the opportunity to compensate for our mistakes and not let it be too late.

Tin Hearts is the adorable, and poignant spiritual successor to Lemmings you never knew you needed.
Tin Hearts offers puzzle gamers a touching story and plenty of challenges across its 40+ levels, some of which are quite lengthy and rewarding. However, user interface issues, inconsistent graphics, and a few odd development decisions make toy time a little less fun than it could have been.
Tin Hearts successfully gives players a 3D Lemmings experience they can enjoy, while the story and art style take things a step further. The controls and movement need some work, however.
Tin Hearts is an heartwarming experience that could've used a little bit more variety to aim at something more than being just a decent puzzle game.

They're not unfairly obtuse while also still offering a solid challenge. The opening stages don't show the game in its best light right away, but once things get moving Tin Hearts is difficult to put down. A few minor technical and user interface issues caused some brief stumbling but rarely put a damper on my enjoyment.
The tin soldiers marched into a successful puzzle game in the style of Lemmings, where you get to know the touching story of the inventor's family while searching for puzzle solutions.

Tin Hearts combines puzzle and 3D platforming to create ingenious challenges that will require paying attention to the environment and the resources that can be used. The narrative lacks better pacing and swings between the endearing and the cheesy. Even so, the plot collaborates with the charming setting of toys and systems that need to be set in motion. This mix is enjoyable and thought-provoking, which makes it recommendable to anyone who likes to twist their brain in creative environments.

Tin Hearts is a perfect little puzzler to dive into if you like clever puzzles, touching narratives, and charming Victorian settings. However, the controls aren't always great, which may frustrate you more often than you'd like.
Tin Hearts is really something quite special. Even the most hardened of gamers will struggle not to be moved by some aspect of the charm on display here. Whether it’s the heart-felt soundtrack, calm but satisfying gameplay or the emotional beats of the story. Tin Hearts is the sort of title I love seeing in gaming. An original idea that is different from anything that comes before is made all the more memorable with its unique historical premise. The game is single-player only, but I can see this being a fun one to play together with loved ones on the sofa. Pointing at the screen to try to solve the problems together. Tin Hearts is a wonderful feel-good title which might be just what you need on a rainy day.
A charming mix of story beats and generally smart puzzles help to make this easy to appreciate… once you get going
Tin Hearts is a wonderful little game of guiding toy soldiers through the remnants and memories of a toy workshop. While a little light on challenging experienced players, an excellent level progression, heartwarming story, and downright adorable visual design more than make up for it. However, the Nintendo Switch version suffers from muddy textures and occasional stutters that pull an otherwise excellent experience down.
