Final Fantasy XV has everything you would want in an RPG game. From a large, diverse world, to fun missions and side quests, to unique characters and well-written conversations, to a deep story, and more, the game will provide countless hours of entertainment. If you’re a fan of RPGs, I highly recommend you invest some time in Final Fantasy XV.

Final Fantasy XV is a very different title from what the series has offered us so far, but that's not a bad thing at all. Opting for a more compact narrative storytelling which can be finished in about twenty hours, it turns us into spectators of a story that is much deeper than it seems. But it also offers a gigantic and magnificent open world with sceneries that will make you drool like the graphic nerd you are. Topped with many sidequests, bounties and upcoming downloadable contents to extend the lifetime to hundreds of hours, Final Fantasy XV succeeds its bet and proves to be a must for this end of year gaming season.

Final Fantasy XV was a game I truly enjoyed and is something I’d love to talk about with other gamers, but again, the only way I can recommend it is if you’re willing to invest the time in its non-video game lore.

Final Fantasy XV is good, but not great, and after a decade in development I feel it should be better.

FF15 is a great game that takes the franchise into a new direction. If you enjoy exploration, the imaginative stories of JRPGs and real time combat, this game is for you.

A great Final Fantasy for newcomers and old timers alike. Even though it's story feels rushed at times, it's great open world, fighting mechanics and heartbreaking finale makes the game worthwhile.

Final Fantasy XV does not disappoint after waiting for so long to enjoy it. The relationship that formed throughout the game between Noctis and his friends is definitely one of the strongest aspects of the story. But the rest of the story is just as good, even if it is lighthearted at times and silly. It does have its moments that'll tug on your heartstrings, and the soundtrack by Yoko Shimomura helps paint an epic tale that I was glad to have been a part of and experience after first seeing Noctis in a trailer over ten years ago. Final Fantasy XV certainly is moving the franchise forward in the right direction. I absolutely cannot wait to see where the series will go with Final Fantasy XVI. I just hope it isn't 2026 before we see another mainline entry.

I haven't had this much fun in a Final Fantasy game for a long time. XV is the perfect blend of action and exploration that keeps you coming back in for more.

Final Fantasy 15 is a wonderful title, and a hell of a lot of fun to have played. It's easily one of the best JRPG's I've ever seen, and I wanted so badly to give it a four out of five, but when I realized that I finished reading an entire novel waiting to get from place to place in the Regalia, I knew I couldn't. It's a fine game, and it deserves a chance, but I hope everyone has a bit more patience than I do.

This might be the darkest game in the series, but it is also, I feel, the best one so far. This is Final Fantasy, right down to the heart of it: four warriors of light looking for a crystal.

The flaws are kind minor and it was partly my fault why the game crashed because I didn't bother to save for a very, very long time. In a nutshell, Final Fantasy XV brought home the bacon for me. It really delivered (and exceeded) my expectations. This game's definitely a keeper.

Final Fantasy XV is not only my favourite game of 2016, it is up there as one of my favourite games of all time. I could of easily used another 2 or 3 thousand words to describe this game, but if you are reading this, get out and buy this game now! With 100 hours easy of gameplay packed in, including hundreds of sidequests, fishing, chocobo racing and more, Final Fantasy XV will keep you very busy this Christmas period. Square Enix put at the start of the game, Final Fantasy XV is a Final Fantasy for newcomers and veterans of the series, and they are right. Perfection is hard to get, but this comes as near as you're ever going to get.

Final Fantasy XV somehow transcends its many flaws in order to become a classic in its own right. Though any reviewer worth their salt would be hesitant to rate it too highly, due to its many faults, by any stretch of the gaming medium, Final Fantasy XV has clear and obvious merit, and, as such, cannot be dismissed or derided completely, even with its problems.

"The story and writing really let Final Fantasy XV down. Even the least favorite entries of the series have a coherent narrative albeit some unlikable ones. Characters are either here for no reason or haven't been developed in any way and certain actions/lack of knowledge between our main heroes really deprive this experience. I'm just glad the gameplay, combat, and interesting open world to explore redeemed Final Fantasy XV from obscurity. I take no pleasure in feeling this way about the highly anticipated title and I literally fell into a small depression after I beat the story. There are good ideas to like here but none of it comes together better than a high school literature project. If gameplay and exploration isn't enough to sate you (ala No Man's Sky) then this title may well be one to avoid."

Final Fantasy XV is a last-ditch effort to keep one of the world's longest video game franchises chugging along. You can smell the fumes and hear troubling sounds with its bumpy story and out-of-place objectives on the road. The open world and gameplay also pose challenges to keeping you in for the ride, but after being behind the wheel for some time, there's something nostalgic and one-of-a-kind about this game that can't be shaken. It doesn't necessarily do anything new or different, but the manners in which it forges its own blend of ideas makes for novelties that gain your appreciation and surprise. Unexpectedly engrossing quests and combat scenarios, meticulous animation, grand characters, and a messy yet fascinating lore are some of those things. Notwithstanding rough patches, there's enough here to keep your interest fueled until you run on empty.

It's important that you know about the issues present in the game before you're told that in spite of all that is wrong, it's still an incredible adventure.
