Persona 5 is not nearly as subversive nor as smart as it wishes it was, but it's stylish as hell and a gripping ride. Worth the wait, and worth your time.

Meticulous thought and consideration has been applied to Shin Megami Tensei's durable model of dungeon crawling and Persona's paragon of social simulation, creating a brilliant pulse visible through (almost) every aspect of its performance. Keeping this pace across a formidable length is Persona 5's most impressive trick, ensuring it will steal your heart without wasting your time.

Persona 5 is the definition of style and is a masterclass in how to make a good RPG. There’s nothing about it that doesn't make it stand out. The soundtrack is one of the best I’ve heard in a long time, the combat is simple yet surprisingly deep which allows for not only the game to be quite accessible, but it is also easy to pick back up.
Half visual novel, half dungeon crawl, all awesome. 100 hours of actually meaningful content, a unique (and sometimes uniquely brutal) combat system, excellent writing, and extremely unsubtle social commentary, all wrapped up in a very stylish package. Definitely not for everybody, but if you've spend the last 10 years wishing they still made JRPGs like they did in 2006, and you're willing to put in a lot of time, then this is probably the game for you.
Persona 5 is a complete package of what a masterpiece has got to have. But it's biggest achievement is not in its flawless gameply or world building but its reflection of reality and that it's an experience within our own lives which puts it on a whole another level.

Persona 5 made me fume, cry, smile and laugh all the way through the 166 hours I played it, and that is doubtlessly a testament to the exceptional experience this ultimate Japanese high schooler simulator provides.
Beautiful and masterfully executed, it's not a question weather you should buy the game, it's a question of why haven't you bought the game yet. You will not get a better RPG or gaming experience for quite some time, so do yourself a favor and pick this one up.
Persona 5 is definitely a great game to pick up this 2017. Its attention-catching, stylish visuals and interesting systems make it enjoyable even to non-JRPG players.

Persona 5 is the series’ addictive formula refined to a nearly perfect form.
Wait, isn't turn-based role-playing game combat supposed to be obsolete? Persona 5 proves that the classic JRPG formula can still work in today's world given the right amount of love and attention. Add a compelling story, stylish production and a healthy dose of modern cool and you've got today's standard-bearer for the traditional JRPG formula.
It's huge, but Persona 5 never outstays its welcome. If you're a JRPG fan without a PS4, this is the game that fully justifies the purchase.
Whether it be facing off against society, making a name for yourself, living the life of a super powered thief or just enjoying highschool in Tokyo, Persona 5 will have you spending all your time doing all that and more in the most stylish way possible. You can even make a harem here for those of you who've always wanted one. This a game that will really tempt you to play the new game plus and doing everything all over again if you wanted to.
Persona 5 has redefined a genre of gaming and is a must-play title for every RPG gamer. Much like Persona 4 Golden was a reason to own a PSVita, Persona 5 is a reason to own a PS4. Like FFVII made you fall in love with JRPG's 20 years ago, Persona 5 will steal your heart.

Persona 5 is a fantastic journey to embark on, full of well-realized characters, serviceable if a little archaic level design, and more than enough activities and distractions to keep you pushing through until its conclusion.
