Ride 5 Reviews
Overall, Ride 5 is a stunningly realistic approach to motorcycle racing simulations. It features immersive graphics and physics that can cause races to be simultaneously challenging and rewarding, while also providing some rider aids to help those who are struggling with the difficulty. The depth of content that is available with the various game modes will allow people to spend countless hours racing and playing around in their virtual garage decorating and tweaking their bikes. Anyone who is a fan of racing, particularly motorcycle racing, should absolutely give Ride 5 a try.
RIDE 5 sets the bar for motorbike simulation on a console in the same way that Gran Turismo 7 does for cars. In my view, GT7 is this game's nearest neighbour, and that is good company. The level of detail present here is admirable, not just in the high-quality visuals for the bikes and environments but also in the detail, the little things like the handling, the options available to tweak your experience and the like. It's clear a significant amount of effort, care and love has gone into RIDE 5 – this is not everybody's cup of tea by a long shot, but this is an impressive title nonetheless.
RIDE 5 reflects Milestone's great passion for the bike world very well. The amount of content, circuits, and bikes is admirable, the new Career mode is huge while the Race Creator further extends a longevity that shows no weaknesses, and lastly the bikes convey a truly satisfying feeling. Without any doubts, this is the best motorbike simulator in a long time, a must for all fans.

With spectacular sound, well-balanced gameplay and a highly addictive career mode, RIDE 5 proves to be a quality successor. Its weather technology compensates for the fact that the asphalt sometimes does not stand out in photo mode.

“Ride 5” is a great game for motorcycle enthusiasts, but Milestone still can’t find a good spot between realism and a more arcade approach. Most of its “innovations” will be seen and felt for those who dedicate their time to it. If you’re not willing to take part in 20 minutes+ races, then “Ride 3” is still your best option.

Although Ride 5 is simply an improvement on the previous title it manages to keep the level of quality, variety and realism high.
