Kingdom Come: Deliverance looks, sounds and acts the part but is inherently flawed in so many different ways that it’s very hard to pay attention to its good traits long enough to not to be distracted by the bad.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance's large open world is packed full of things to do in a setting many can relate to. It's by no means perfect, which is unfortunately down to the sheer scope of the project for such a small team of developers.

Kingdom Come is complex and difficult to access. However, if you get involved in it, you will experience an incredibly coherent RPG world.

Kingdom Come is a walking simulator merged with an RPG that takes you down a Wikipedia black hole. Accepting its historicity and deciphering its cerebral game systems is like completing a religious rite.

If you can look past the annoying bugs and obtuse mechanics, Kingdom Come: Deliverance's strong sense of believable, historical realism will undoubtedly cast a spell on anyone that gives the game a chance. This is a must-play for fans of lifestyle simulators and medieval RPGs.

At the moment, we'd recommend waiting this one out until it gets a few more updates. Underneath a myriad of technical muddles lies a serviceable RPG, although right now, it's nowhere close to what it could be.

For now, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is decidedly niche, and all the better for it.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is a much needed breath of fresh air for the gaming industry, and frankly one that many players will overlook, much the way Demon's Souls originally was. It's challenging, cryptic, vague and there are simply too many questions without answers for the average gamer. However, if you can stay the course and persist through the unknown, understanding that you will get the answers if you carry on, you will find a very special and personal experience that few games offer. Only three games to date have inspired me to pick up a book and actually read about the events of the game I was playing. The first was The Witcher, the second was Nioh and now the third is Kingdom Come Deliverance. Warhorse may not win any awards for this title, but they have established themselves where it matters most, in the hearts of gamers with a solid performance. They have earned themselves a warm following, and I can't wait to see what they do next. Now pardon me good sir, I have to see a bar wench about some ale.

Despite a few issues that need tweaking, Warhorse Studios should be proud of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It's completely different to any other RPG in the market, offering a more realistic, down-to-Earth experience that is almost 100 percent historically accurate, from the events to the people and places that you come across. A game that's fun to play, engaging and teaches you about history? It's a winner in our books.

verall, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a rare instance of a Kickstarter game gone right. It absolutely delivers a worthwhile and truly engaging experience to it’s backers, and does so whilst being not just a fantastic video game, but also a fantastic educational tool as well. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a very welcome fusion of classic and modern open-world RPGs, and it plays mostly to it’s strengths; it’s the 1400’s time capsule I’ll happily spend 60+ hours immersed in. Yes, there are a number of technical issues still prevalent within the game, however I’m hoping that these will be patched quickly and fully – The tale of Henry is a heartfelt one, and the world of Bohemia certainly feels alive – More-so than many open world RPG’s recently released.

Kingdom Come is a seriously satisfying role-playing experience set in a rich, reactive world.

If you like slow and deliberate story development, which is at the heart of this game, then you can safely purchase it after all the bugs get fixed.

Warhorse Studio has achieved the most realistic and respectful with the History medieval RPG. Kingdom Come Deliverance introduces a lot of good ideas in the genre. But they are not quite well implemented in this gigantic ambitious map. The game needs updates for optimization improvement.

For all its flaws, and there certainly are many, Kingdom Come: Deliverance still provides a gripping, inspired open world, replete with interesting characters, thrilling battles, and gorgeous views. If you can get past your horse occasionally floating into space, and characters appearing without heads here and there, you'll be in for a real treat.

Overall, I found Kingdom Come: Deliverance to be an innovative, breathe of fresh air. It has a different pace to Skyrim but if you don't mind a challenge and can master the skills, it offers a complex and well crafted world with a great story that's not just interesting to history buffs but appeals to all RPG fans.

Despite its technical issues and many bugs, Kingdom Come Deliverance is an excellent and really unique RPG. Its system reaches depths that has never been seen before, and assumes its diehard historical aspect at the risk of cutting itself off from a big part of the public. Here is a true ode to the European medieval period, and eventually the typical game that you will love or hate with passion.

Overall, Kingdom Come: Deliverance gets a 9/10, the gameplay is amazing, replacing my need to play Skyrim for quite some time to come. Swordplay is smooth and unforgiving to those who rush in, setting your character up is immersive and engaging, skill progression is rewarding and clearly displayed with diplomacy being rather in-depth.

Despite its lack of polish, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an engaging ride. If players are willing to embrace the beauty of history and the challenge of survival in a world that cares nothing for its inhabitants, role-playing doesn’t come much more satisfying than this.
