Flying Wild Hog takes everything that made the original remake of Shadow Warrior so much fun, and amps it up. Combat is fun, there's plenty of action to be found and Wang is a riot. Sure the quests get repetitive, but with so much action going in throughout the stages, it's hard to get mad. If I could change one thing, however, it would be the constant use of Lo Wang's witty one-liners. They're funny, but they repeat so often I found myself getting tired of them.

Shadow Warrior 2 is much like its predecessor: a gore-spattered first person kill-fest interspersed with lowest-rung lowest brow humour. Both of these elements are executed to excess, giving us a game that is equal parts head and eye-rolling. Still, it never stops entertaining if you have a taste for it!

Even with these issues Shadow Warrior 2 is still incredibly fun and endlessly entertaining. Add in the fact that it supports 4-player co-op online and it is a no-brainer. The console versions turned out well, just not as good as they should have been. For those without massive gaming PCs though it is not really an issue. This is a technically sound port of an incredibly great game. Don't miss it.

Shadow Warrior 2 is a game unlike any other. It's got the classic FPS gameplay that's been modernized lately, but it changes things up by mixing in RPG dungeon crawling mechanics. The end result works very well and it gives the game a great amount of replayability, even on subsequent playthroughs.

Shadow Warrior 2 is a fast, gorgeous shooter with smart loot components, trapped inside a world and age that lost its luster ages ago. Where the core gameplay still feels fantastic, the story, world and mission structure gradually drag it down short of being a successor to the grandeur of its predecessor. An excellent shooter that could have used 99 percent less Wang.

Shadow Warrior 2 is a worthy successor to the 2013 reboot. Flying Wild Hog obviously put more work into some of the gameplay systems for the game, while keeping the original's great combat system and charm. If you're up for some bloody fast-paced first person combat, this ultimate power trip won't disappoint.

Shadow Warrior 2 arrives with a very powerful gameplay, more explict violence and a story that is longer than the player would expect coming from a kind of game like this.

Shadow Warrior 2 is in position to become Fall 2016's premier sleeper hit as not many gamers are talking about it, and there certainly isn't much in the way of a marketing campaign. Even then, its gameplay dynamics are so well executed that it could walk among this year's biggest games. If you're looking for a fun online co-op game to play with friends, this might just be the game for you. Just don't go in expecting a satisfying story.

Shadow Warrior 2's unfunny story gets in the way of an otherwise great game.

The McDonalds ball pit of first-person shooters: disorganized, colourful, daft, and a surprisingly good time considering its limited avenues of entertainment. Shadow Warrior 2 is well worth your attention.

An overall solid sequel and a great game, with some evolutionary game design from previous titles in the series that may or may not appeal to you.

Shadow Warrior 2 is an old school FPS, with frantic gameplay, great design elements and incredible fun. Its´ constant jokes made us smile throughout more than 12 hours of gunpowder and blood.

For all my complaints about the mission structure and repetitive semi-randomised maps, I never once stopped playing thanks to excellent gunplay, and fun upgrade system, and just enough narrative to keep me interested. It is always difficult for developers to create decent narrative in these games and the story in Shadow Warrior 2 seems more ambitious than the game can effectively convey.

Shadow Warrior 2 is a great game, one that does its predecessor justice and remains true to what made its franchise, and the shooter genre of the 90's, great.

Shadow Warrior 2 doesn't usually take itself too seriously with its dick jokes and outrageous story, which is the way this game should be. Don't take this game seriously and you will have a wonderful time even if the dick jokes might get a little boring from time to time. With tons of replayability and multiplayer goodness for only $39.99, Shadow Warrior 2 is a great game to add to your collection this year.

Shadow Warrior 2 is fantastic. Flying Wild Hog have added a lot to this sequel on top of the thing that worked for the first game and made it all even better. There's a lot of content to enjoy, plenty of trophies to unlock, a hearty and challenging story mode and some great and smooth graphics to go along with it. If you're a fan of Shadow Warrior, then you've probably pre-ordered the sequel. But even those of you who might be new to the series will find something to like.

The best way to play Shadow Warrior 2 is also the most exciting and rewarding, as hanging back and shooting from afar is not nearly as effective combing your firepower with blades, and magic.

Wang's stupid wisecracks kept me smiling from start to finish, and the variety of melee and ranged combat and the loot that dropped from it was satisfying enough that I came back with friends for more. It's great fun in solo or in co-op, and its small degree of randomization is enough to keep the action fresh for at least a few runs.
