Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble Reviews
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is a fantastic game whether you are rolling solo or with a party. From the Adventure Mode to the Battle Mode and a positive vibe soundtrack playing throughout, it’s a fun ride for all ages. Prepare that spin dash and roll out!
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is the best entry the series has seen in some time, with the online multiplayer standing out as the highlight of the experience. That’s not to say that players won’t have a blast in single player though, especially with the two-hundred expertly crafted levels and the introduction of the spin dash that puts a cool little trick up your sleeve. Just be warned: completing all of the challenges will be TOUGH… There’s no doubting that there has been a shift in focus to online multiplayer in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble, but with a selection of frantic and exciting game modes to play through, support for sixteen-players, and a solid sense of progression that sees players unlocking plenty of new items, it’s something I can see myself coming back to time and time again.
All-in-all, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is a great time, albeit held back by the same lackluster camera the series has always had and the framerate causing some issues, but otherwise it’s a very solid title.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is a riot - a fun party game with crazy stunts and iconic characters. It's a great balance of nostalgia and a modern experience, reminding players of the good old days while offering something fresh.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble shows Sega's care in continuing the refining of the series ever since its recent revival with remakes and compillations. The game is, without a doubt, the most polished so far, and adds new elements that don't deviate from the simple and undying premise of the franchise from the arcades. Some small performance issues exist, such as slow loading screens, but they don't hinder the overall experience too much.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is another classic game in the series with plenty of replay value. It features a large online mode, which, while not hugely impressive, is a nice addition.
After more than twenty years, the original outings on GameCube have finally found a worthy successor. Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is a rousing return to form for a series that had been struggling to find its footing. While it doesn't quite reach the highs of the first two games, mainly due to performance inconsistencies and lacking multiplayer, I still really enjoyed myself. Above all else, it feels great to be excited about Super Monkey Ball’s future again.
