Looks can be deceiving, and from an outsider's point of view, Metrico+ could be seen as bland and basic. That couldn't be further than the truth, as it is in fact engaging, very clever and creates a sense of melancholy to balance out any moments of minor frustration. It is no doubt a great addition to the Xbox One library and one you should surely be picking up.

Metrico+ in the end left me a bit underwhelmed leaving me to give it a score of 4/10

Metrico+ should serve as a pleasant surprise for Xbox One owners looking for something to tax the brain, whilst whiling away the time until the big releases start to roll through again. However, it’s actually a game that I’d recommend at any time. It’s a unique mix of puzzling and platforming in its own right, but tie in the abstraction that permeates every aspect of it, and it’s a surprisingly intriguing package.

Metrico was always an enjoyable platformer hosted on an unfortunate platform, so even if it took two years and the rebuilding of half the game, it is a welcome sight to witness Metrico+ finally save the original game from itself.

Metrico+ is a fascinatingly unique game that works so well. The little nuances and challenging puzzles make for a rewarding experience. Although there is more replay value through different challenges it does feel like it would have benefitted from little more length. Despite this small critique, Metrico+ is an intriguing, engaging and rewarding experience. Kudos to Digital Dreams.

Metrico+ fares better than its predecessor but still falls just a bit short. The puzzles are engaging and challenging, but are more frustrating than enjoyable at times and can make it hard to even want to continue. The visuals and sounds are beautiful, but are little more than smoke and mirrors in a game that can be easily completed in under an hour with no real incentive to play.

Metrico+ is as annoying as it is awesome. On one hand, I loved the visual presentation and the absolute minimalist design. On the other, I hate maths with a passion. Still, the game kept me entertained for a good few hours and I really did feel like a god-damn genius when I passed a level. Any game that makes me feel smarter is OK in my book.

The PS4 version is certainly much better than the Vita version – for me, the tilt functionality in particular just didn't feel right on Sony's portable. Thanks to the DualShock 4, the controls are flawless. All in all you're looking at around eight hours or so to complete all levels in the game, and several extra hours on top of that if you want to get every single trophy, including its coveted Platinum. I greatly enjoyed my time with the game for my Metrico+ review, and I look forward to going back to it to complete the pending challenges I have as I work towards the Platinum trophy!

Did I have fun playing this game? Certainly! Writing my review for Metrico+ was a nice change of pace from the other games I've been reviewing lately. It's minimalist look, and excellent soundtrack kept me focused on the puzzles at hand at all times, and made it easier to go back to previous areas to grab some of the trophies and collectibles I was missing. You can't go wrong with Metrico+, and I hope you add this stellar game to your PlayStation 4 collection today!

Metrico+ is one of the more unique puzzle experiences on the PlayStation 4, but it's quirky nature never detracts from the addictive puzzle design. This is a solid experience from start to finish.

Metrico isn't a bad game. On the one hand, you're immediately captivated by the unique gameplay. On the other, the interface keeps hindering your progression and immersion.

'Metrico+' removes all of the gimmicks that made the original a burden to play, and replaces them with fantastic level design. This isn't a port, it's a complete overhaul that demonstrates what Digital Dreams has learned from their Vita exclusive. This update is well worth playing for puzzle platforming fans, regardless of whether or not one has played the 2014 game.

Metrico+, by Digital Dreams, takes that tendency and runs with it (literally), turning a mystery of infographic interpretation into a puzzle platformer that causes head-scratching frustration, as well as triumphant joy. The overall impression I got before playing was that this would be a fun game to merely pass the time. I was right about the "fun," but the word "merely" doesn't apply.

Metrico+ improves on everything from the original game simply by changing which platform it's on. More people can now enjoy this unique looking and well made puzzle platformer.

It's great to see developers take criticism to heart and use those lessons to create a better experience the second time around.

Honestly, I enjoyed Metrico+. It's strange design and simplistic nature combined with the puzzle solving aspects make for a fun, if short game. Plus, the music is just great to chill with and listen to.

If you are looking for something different or a game that can stimulate your mind, Metrico + is what you are searching for. The game has got a attractive design and it is simple and intuitive. The variety of puzzles and jump elements give the game an extra appeal. However, it does not offer many amounts of hours to play.

The kitchen sink approach to input is gone in Metrico+, but the clever premise is still undermined by a timid, half-hearted execution.
