Overwatch is a special game, and as Overwatch 2 is essentially a complete rework that will carry your progress over there is no reason to not give it a try if you haven’t already. It goes on sale for $20 in the US quite often and solo or especially with friends it will be well worth it. The mix of frenetic PvP and PvE content, wide variety of modes, and excellent roster of heroes have made this one of my favorite games of all time.
Overwatch is a masterpiece. A dizzying amalgam of unique characters, stunning style, and compellingly dynamic action.
The bottom line is that Overwatch is easy to pick up and understand, and amazingly fun to play.
Overwatch is a near masterpiece in the multiplayer genre, offering a refined and highly tuned experience to veterans and newcomers alike. The memorable cast of characters combined with the beautifully designed worlds makes Overwatch a visual pleasure all on its own Combine this with the excellent combat and Blizzard may have made one of the best multiplayer games in the last decade. Whether it thrives to the length of the games like Team Fortress 2 is yet to be seen, but Overwatch won’t stop us from dumping hundreds of hours into it anytime soon.

Go and play Overwatch! It's a great game that does something really different with the genre creating a really cool unique experience that somehow feels different everytime you play.
Overwatch is still an extremely fun, enjoyable package regardless, with regular events, a deep competitive scene, and fun, addicting gameplay, I'm sure that Overwatch is bound to stick around for years to come...Possibly as long as Team Fortress 2, infact.

It contains oodles of replayability with a gorgeous, charming art style and animation, superb sound design, and modes that never grow stale. This is easily one of my top contenders for 2016's game of the year. Let alone this generation of consoles.

Blizzard has brought all its experience to bear on the design of Overwatch, and the finer details make it a joy to play.

An intricately fine-tuned, immediately fun shooter
Blizzard continues its streak as a top-tier developer with its first new intellectual property in almost twenty years. Overwatch is a fantastic reminder that fun, quality gameplay need not be limited to skills such as actions per minute or twitch reflexes; strategy and teamwork are just as effective. There is something here for everyone!
By creating Overwatch, Blizzard showed that it never sacrifices the quality of its games for any other factor. Overwatch is an ideal combination of all elements that can turn a game into a masterpiece.

Blizzard's first foray into the first person shooter genre was a bold move for the studio best known for its strategy titles and its MMO, World of Warcraft. Blizzard is first to market with Overwatch, its entry into the nascent, but rapidly growing hero shooter and unfortunately for everyone else, Blizzard's managed to hit the ball out of the park on its first swing.
