DiscStorm is the spiritual successor to Windjammers in many ways, but pathetic AI and gameplay that feels unrewarding hurts the overall experience.

DiscStorm is a fun arena-based game but it doesn't seem like a finished product. There are a lot of elements to it that can keep people playing for hours, but after a while when the “new toy” feeling fades away you may just find yourself wondering what can you do now.

DiscStorm has a core that's well designed and engaging, especially when the player faces enemies who are able to throw their own discs and move around well.

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if this game appears on browsers in the next year, and this same team will take off the training wheels and fully express their creative freedom in a truly definitive future product.
