There is a lot of content to jump into, and  a lot of options for how you want to experience that content. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 doesn't do too much new in terms of expanding the series, but the feel of the game proves it didn't really need to.

With tons of playable characters, intense battles, online multiplayer, and a fairly lengthy Story Mode, Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 offers tons of content that will be loved by fans. A reworked yet subtle combat system, visuals that'll make you think that you've fallen under a Genjutsu spell and a story that has finally reached its climax. This final chapter is purely for the fans.

Stunning to behold and hugely enjoyable to play, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 can sometimes prove frustrating, but once you get to grips with it and master its combat, enjoying the blistering battles that ensue is a joy. Close to Six Paths Perfection, you might say.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja 4 sets new standards for the series. It excels in nearly every aspect, while merely stumbling here and there on minor issues.

While there's plenty more that a true fan would get out of this experience, as a bystander, there's not much of a draw here for me.

Full Burst is not an easy game to get into, but it's a fun, engaging and exciting experience if you're willing to put a little effort into it. For fans of the show it's a must-have title and while it's not the perfect introduction to the anime, it's perfectly possible for newcomers to have a lot of fun here too.

A great end to the story and a fun Naruto themed fighting game that fans won't want to miss out on. Even if Naruto isn't your thing I would still say it's worth a try.

Bandai Namco knows what their fans want in a Naruto game and for the most part, they have delivered. The game has solid controls and an outstanding roster of characters but suffers from too many flaws to allow the average gamer to drop $60 right now. Wait for this one to show up in a bargain bin because the few things added into the series at this point do nothing to make up for its shortcomings.

Despite what you might think of the source material's other incarnations, the Ultimate Ninja Storm series is where the world of Naruto truly comes to life. The story mode alone justifies the game's purchase, and the versus mode is a hell of a lot of fun...provided you're not going online to play. It gets kind of dicey at that point.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 could have tried to be a little more accessible for those who are not yet in love with the Naruto canon but even they will be impressed by the combat sequences and intrigued to find out more about the main cast of characters.

Despite a great and exciting gameplay, Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has a weak story. Using anime's original voice actors and great music are the strong points of the game but online problems is unacceptable for a 4th installment of a franchise.

There is an almost unbridled energy to the Naruto show and manga that translates over to the video game medium very effectively. The combat is not the deepest, but there is nuance to learn and master and the story and set pieces help to deliver on that frantic energy the show is known for.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 really embraces the style its anime roots. The frantic combat is very enjoyable, despite an initially steep learning curve, and there's a multitude of modes and scenarios to duke it out in. Combine that that with stunning, flashy action packed scenes and you don't just get the best looking Naruto game but possibly the best looking Anime style title.

Naurto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the last entry in the series and it is arguably the best one yet. CyberConnect2 has nailed the aesthetics of anime/manga and perfected the combat system from earlier games to create this satisfying conclusion in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series.
