Samurai Warriors 4 Reviews
Samurai Warriors 4 might have followed up on the last warriors title quickly, but it does enough differently to be worth a look on it's own merits. Not really anything that will get new fans, but enough to keep the attention of existing ones.
While Warriors fans may find more of what they enjoy here, there just isn't enough meat on the bones to convince non-believers to part with their cash.
As much as I love Samurai Warriors, I would suggest either of those games before this one. However, if you have both of those and still want more Musou, Samurai Warriors 4 is still a good entry in the series.
Overall, fans of the Warriors franchise will know what to expect from Samurai Warriors 4: epic battles, a huge roster, and frantic battles. Although it has dated visuals, it comes through on a gameplay front - for fans at least. The battles feel epic due to the number of drones on the screen. In the end, that's what these titles are all about - epic battles that keep these titles going.
Samurai Warriors 5 is a great anti-stress game. But repetition will always be the problem in this genre and Samurai Warriors 5 can't avoid this Achilles' heel even with a deep combat system and several customization options.
