Pumped BMX + Reviews
Overall, Pumped BMX+ is an impressive bicycle motocross game with interesting physics, impressive real-life tricks, and a challenge system that will keep you coming back for more. Not only does it play well, but visually it has lots of polish and works well both on the TV and on the GamePad.
As stunt games go, Pumped BMX+ is solid fun if a little light on variety. There's enough challenge here to keep you busy for a while, but it doesn't compare to the likes of Trials or Olli Olli in terms of addictive thrills.
There are plenty of challenges in Pumped BMX+ for the price point, but at the end of the day it boils down to whether you'd like a mobile game on your PC or console. Sadly, it just doesn't offer anything beyond the capabilities of the mobile version and it's a tough sell as a result. While it's technically a good port of an iOS title, it just isn't enhanced enough for my tastes.
This game brings Tony Hawk's Pro Skater style to the realm of 2D, but doesn't have the stamina to keep interest.
Pumped BMX+ is a sharp looking title with controls that are some of the best for this genre after you get through the learning curve. However, we have a lackluster soundtrack and repetitive game play that perhaps should have branched out into something new rather than keep the mold of short game play experiences on mobile devices.
Pumped BMX + doesn't really do anything particularly wrong, but it lacks that je ne sais quoi needed to keep its wheels going around. You'll happily bunny hop into this one for a few short sessions, but once you're done, you'll likely find yourself leaving this bicycle out to rust.
Pumped BMX + had the potential to be a solid recommendation, but it's frustrating design and lack of fun really drag it down. I have no problem with mobile games getting the port to consoles; I just expect them to receive some care to make that port worthwhile.
unable to reach the excellence of Trials series, Pumped BMX Plus will certainly be appreciated for some "hit and run" gameplay sessions: give it a chance if you like the genre.

While it can never match up to RedLynx’s brilliant racer, this is very much a budget title.
Simple, basic and addictive, Pumped BMX Pro is a good alternative to the Trial's licence. Despite of being not easy to pick up, the game remains fun.

Pumped BMX+ is a good advertisement for mobile game ports on Xbox One. Crafted with care and not just spit out onto the platform in under five minutes, the game is easy to pickup and tough to master. Despite the amount of gameplay addicted players will get out of it, a little more variation and the inclusion of any sort of multiplayer play – H.O.R.S.E. anyone? – would have seen it score higher, though there's plenty going on here to justify the price for lone players. Good fun.
If you can make hay out of the physics and not run into the maddening frustration that dominated my playtime, then Pumped BMX Pro might just stick the landing. But if you want something that's more freeing and interesting, you're better off checking out any one of the other similar games hitting Switch in 2019.
