Fun game to spend a couple hours on, each world adds a new challenge which keeps the game fun, but eventually collecting spheres loses it's magic and it becomes repetitive. Definitely a game for younger audiences.

Color Guardians is not too shabby as a fast-paced side-scrolling platformer title. Despite its lack of voice-over and better dialogue, the game can be or not be worth your time. It boils down to the gamer's preferences. But if you ask me, based on my review and experience on the game, it's a fair platformer game but Color Guardians is not worth purchasing if you're a short-tempered player.
Color Guardians is one of those overlooked gems that'll unfortunately go by unnoticed for the most part.
If you are looking for a challenge, Color Guardians will have your back but if are looking for a fun and interesting title, you will probably have to look elsewhere.
In terms of graphics, Color Guardians doesn't offer anything particularly spectacular, but it's far from offensive – the environments are very vivid and pleasant and creature designs are memorable and unique
Color Guardians is the kind of game that feels like it needs to be liked. It almost feels like it was secretly released already. It took notes, amped up what the test group really liked, and then degraded the things they didn't. While the soundtrack is great, it's also very much what would be expected. Twitchy and very demanding (in some very unfair ways, more often than not), and dull and repetitive graphics remove any good work the soundtrack does. This leaves behind a game that, for all intents and purposes, falls short of all of its goals.
Color Guardians blends a variety of fast-paced genres together nicely. It controls perfectly and every set of stages changes things up enough to use the core runner/platformer/rhythm game template and keep it interesting.
If you enjoy the entertaining torture of Super Meat Boy or Bit Trip Runner, I'd say you should get out there and guard some "colors". Just don't forget which colour is which.
Color Guardians is a simple game with a straightforward purpose - run and button-mash. It will certainly challenge gamers with fast gameplay and demand multi-tasking sharpness from its players, but doesn't offer a lot beyond those things.
While Color Guardians could've used more zest in its character personality – and a few more easygoing levels to keep rookie players in check – it's still a better game than expected, thanks to its interesting gameplay and crazy challenges. If you're a fan of running or rhythm, be sure to try on this Color.
