Hitman GO: Definitive Edition Reviews
If we treat Hitman GO as a mobile game, it is undoubtedly one of the most exciting mobile titles. However, thanks to its slightly innovative concept, it won't get lost in a shuffle even on PC, even though the missing keyboard support is a crucial flaw.

Strip out all of the blood and gore from the Hitman franchise and what is left is truly a thinking man's game. The developers certainly understand what the true charm of the series is and it is highlighted in this puzzle-take on the franchise.
Not particularly difficult, and its mobile roots are showing, but Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is an entertaining puzzle spin-off.
If you're a fan of puzzle games, then Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is definitely something to consider if you haven't played the mobile version. If, however, you've had your fill of the mobile version it might be best to give it a miss. There's not really anything new to experience apart from some shinier graphics. The challenges on each board help add to the longevity of the game, but overall Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is a game best enjoyed in short bursts.
While the new Hitman should get greater attention (deservedly so), GO! isn't a bad option for people looking for something more on the strategic side. What it lacks in bloodshed and insightful killing, it makes up for with strong level design and creative challenges to overcome. It's certainly something you could, ahem, kill time with.
Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is a neat little puzzling package that thoroughly entertains. Despite taking a different approach to gameplay, it very much remains a Hitman game.
If you've already beaten Hitman GO on your phone or tablet, there is no reason to double-dip on console, but if you missed out on the original release, Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is an ideal choice for the Vita. It is a solid puzzler, plays great on the handheld, and is very easy to consume in small bites if you're limited on time. It may be a different experience than the traditional Hitman games, but Hitman GO: Definitive Edition captures the spirit of the franchise nicely.
Hitman Go is a unique take on the long-running Hitman franchise, breaking down the series to its core mechanics and delivering an enjoyable adventure.
Hitman GO borrows a name from a successful franchise and doesn't squander it, though it's a title that will be much more enjoyable for fans of puzzle games rather than stealth action.
Hitman GO is an interesting spin-off for the already accomplished series.
Hitman Go: Definitive Edition is a simplistic travel game that doesn't fit on the PS4. If you own a Vita, travel a lot and don't have much time to game, this is perfect for you.
As an unconventional spin-off of the series, players will maximize reward and payoff in short playthrough sessions or as a relaxing detour on the go.
Hitman GO is a highly original brainteaser that I'd definitely recommend to those who enjoy giving their grey matter a challenging gaming workout.
It's tough, addictive, and offers a lot of content for the cost of admission. While not a traditional Hitman game, it's a smart entry into the franchise that I would encourage Vita owners especially to strongly consider.
Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is a bold puzzle experience that takes the established franchise and simplifies its mechanics while retaining the complexity of the actual design. While its progression may not be all that great and some stages don't leave a lot of room to experiment, the mechanics are easy to comprehend, and the challenges are still satisfying.
Strategic and incredibly challenging at times – this won't leave you 'board'
Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is a nice little detour away from the open-world stealth-based contract killings that the main games in the franchise have been known for. Instead, playing as a miniature Agent 47 on a chessboard-like setting in a turn-based game is an addicting process, where many hours can easily be lost trying to figure out the walking patterns of the Agent's next target. Its simple gameplay makes it easy for newcomers to jump in and play. With seven campaigns consisting of roughly 15 levels each, there is a lot of fun to be had in this minor deviation from the Hitman franchise - hopefully one that will be revisited in the future.
Hitman GO easily met my expectations and is perfect to while away a few minutes here and there.
Hitman GO is a unique spin to a franchise and feels like the perfect combination of puzzle and strategy game, especially in quick bursts. I can only handle so much in one sitting, but every time I do play, I find myself sucked in just a little bit more.
A good mix of puzzle and turn-based strategy also recommended to those unfamiliar with the Agent 47. And as they say in these cases: so cheap, so satisfying.
