MagNets is a buggy mess that will strip you of your achievements, the sounds are bad, the graphics are too. There is simply no reason to play this game other than achievements or trophies.

MagNets: Fully Charged is a dull and uninspired game that will ultimately be overshadowed by a marketplace that sees games pumped out at a constant rate. While the idea of creating magnetic fields to disrupt enemy robots is interesting, the game’s constant use of this mechanic with no real variation led it to feel far more repetitive than innovative. With a dull storyline, dated visuals and unreliable gameplay, MagNets: Fully Charged does not provide much attraction to return for more.

MagNets: Fully Charged had an good idea, but executed it poorly. Collecting trinkets from continuously respawning enemies until you have enough to get an item required to progress, only to have to do it again to pass another metaphorical broken bridge, makes for a subpar experience. A repetitive electronic soundtrack makes you feel as though no progress is being made as you constantly backtrack to ensure the survival of key buildings. All in all, MagNets: Fully Charged is a frustrating and tedious experience to behold.

Family friendly and inoffensive, MagNets: Fully Charged is a functional game that some will find entertaining. The lack of variety and short completion time really drag it down but as it's such a repetitive experience you may well find yourself welcoming the end. Achievement hunters will enjoy the 20G you get for the first time you jump but other than that, MagNets doesn't offer enough bang for your buck and is difficult to recommend at its current price point and with its multiplayer missing in action.
