Far Harbor is a good looking, but short story DLC for Fallout 4. It brings us a few mediocre panting schemes and much more in terms of vastly superior weapons and armour options, like Marine Armour or Atom's Judgement.

definitely lived up to the standards set by Bethesda and their post-apocalyptic saga; Far Harbor adds another shade to the spectrum of colour that is painted across Fallout's history. With excellent gameplay and atmospheric effects, tied together in a bundle of deeply intricate lore, fans of the series should not be disappointed.

I can only hope to see one more expansion of this size, quality, and magnitude that takes me down another road, or across an ocean, or whatever Bethesda decides to do next… I’ll be there.

Far Harbor sits somewhere between a San Francisco noir and a Stephen King thriller. There are things lurking in the fog that you've never seen before. And warring factions fight for both the fog's preservation and eradication. And see if you can stay on task long enough to find the missing girl, too. Far Harbor is a neat collection of short stories in the Fallout 4 novel.

Far Harbor is one of the best DLC expansions in the series. There are plenty of new people to meet, locations to discover, and quests to complete. It is perfect for the type of person that wants a bit of a shake-up to their normal Fallout 4 experience, or just wants more land to explore.

This is the best the Season Pass has to offer, and Bethesda seemingly saved it for last. If you’re gonna get the Season Pass, know that you’ll want and will spend most of your time in Far Harbor, because it is a great, lengthy story full of intrigue and mystery that fits perfectly into Fallout 4. This place is far away from metropolitan areas and this add-on benefits greatly from it.

Far Harbor definitely doesn't disappoint in terms of its size and the main questline is as interesting and intruiging as you'd expect from a Fallout 4 DLC. There's a number of different locations to explore with quests and side quests that take you up and down the fairly large map, and there's the usual amount of secrets to be uncovered as well, but take Nick as a companion and there's even more to be uncovered here. The setting for Far Harbor itself is not the most exciting due to its foggy nature and a generally dull and dark world. That being said, there's plenty here to keep you busy, interested and more than entertained for a good number of hours.

At nearly 20 hours worth of quests to undertake and wildlands to explore, that same tedium threatens to kick in, but there’s enough pathos in its stories and weirdness in its sights—one of the first things I did was talk my way into the bed of an old-world Hollywood starlet who’d shoved her brain into a robot body that looked like a trashcan on tank treads—to easily sustain that runtime.

If you made the trip to Far Harbor at all then you know what you're hoping for, and it's safe to say you'll find it. Just don't expect a radical departure from what has come before.

In the way that Fallout can be, it has the capacity to be an incredibly tiring game; faced with another looming factory on the horizon, I sighed, steeled myself.

The reality is, while Far Harbor itself is fantastic, Bethesda has once again lived up to its old name and released some content with major bugs and issues.

Suffice it to say, I’m looking forward to going back Far Harbor ASAP. This is nearly the new gold standard for how do DLC right. Bravo, Bethesda.

Thanks to a wealth of gameplay and an interesting setting, Fallout 4's Far Harbor DLC manages to succeed, despite suffering from some very questionable design decisions related to one awful quest. It is, however, a bit costly at $25.00.

The main storyline for this DLC is a little short, but it takes many turns you never see coming! It’s up to you; will you save The Island from the horrors of the Fog, or lead them all to their demented demise?

The radioactive fog gives Far Harbor a different feel from the Commonwealth. The mood is too sinister to just call it gloomy. While the island is infested with new mutants, there is no need for one to hide in every dark shadow when the fog will slowly poison you to death.

Far Harbor is Bethesda doing what they do well, extending the longevity of the product and prolonging the players want and need to explore more and more. I finished most of Far Harbor, but it’ll be weeks, if not months before I can say I’ve seen everything. The creepy atmosphere, new designs for everything from weapons to characters and buildings really make this DLC feel different. While there’s a hiccup in the action with the hacking/data theft section, it’s not a dealbreaker.

Far Harbor bears so many of the same problems of Fallout 4 base game that more often than not, I was having a bad time.

Far Harbor doesn't reinvent the wheel but it does add some compelling gameplay and a good story to Fallout 4. Take the trip up north - you may find a reason or two to hang around.
