An enjoyable and highly recommendable experience, even more so to those who fully enjoyed the first game. Arkane Studios has improved everything that needed improvement since Dishonored came out, and they give us an excellent game to enjoy on consoles and PC. Stealth is far from games like Deus Ex, however it is still entertaining although somewhat frustrating. Level design is magnificent, specially in two maps: a mansion that transforms its rooms with mechanisms and gizmos, and another mansion we can visit in two different time sets simultaneously. Dishonored 2 makes me want to replay Dishonored in its Definitive Edition release.

Dishonored 2 is a marvel of level and puzzle design, which more than makes up for the lack of an engaging story or characters.

Dishonored 2, however unfortunately, feels like a dumbed-down version of its predecessor, when a lot more could have been done to utilise the new hardware and create a fantastic experience, building on that of its predecessor.

Dishonored 2 continues the story from the first game fifteen years later and invites newcomers to the fascinating world as much as veterans of the first game.

Dishonored 2 is bigger and better than its forbearer, with greater variety of level design and even more flexible gameplay. It is a shame the central narrative isn’t more engaging and that the sequel is haunted by technical deficiencies.

Dishonored 2 is a sequel in what may very well be the best possible sense of the word. It retains pretty much everything that made the original special and intensifies it.

Dishonored 2’s beautifully bleak world, incredibly level design, and top notch AI make for an altogether grand experience that will have fans of the classic Thief series truly enthralled. Its story is not the best narrative you’ve ever seen, and the voice acting (even of Vincent D’Onofrio and Rosario Dawson) is rough. Not Peter Dinklebot of Destiny Infamy bad, but it’s not great. That said, there’s little in Dishonored 2 that would keep me from recommending it for all fans of stealth action games. Simply put, it succeeds and surpasses where the sequel laid the groundwork.

Dishonored 2 was a pain in the ass to get running initially, but once I did, I was able to settle in for a really fun and rewarding adventure. It's a fantastic sequel that does a great job of building on the strengths of the first game and providing a few new wrinkles that make the game feel as fresh as the first one did a few years ago.

Dishonored 2 is a great sequel, one that refines the mechanics of the original whilst adding plenty of replay value. It's unfortunate the narrative is lacking but there's plenty to explore and discover in this title.

Dishonored 2 is the result of a classic sequel. A sequence that, unlike many games these days, has not changed altogether, but is considered a more beautiful, exciting and complete version of the first game.

With amazing moment to moment gameplay and great level design, Dishonored 2 is worth checking out provided you have the means to play it. Dishonored 2 iterates and innovates in equal measure, resulting in an almost addictive quality to the proceedings that few can match.

Dishonored 2 is like meeting an old friend – you know who he is and what to expect from him. Basically, Dishonored 2 is the same as the first Dishonored, only bigger. It's bit of a shame that it wasn't a bit more ambitious, but whoever loved the first game will be equally excited about the sequel.

The combat is intense and while hard, rewarding. Stealth style goes a long way to making key moments feel even more intense as attempting to ghost an area is extremely satisfying. Yet I can mix these gameplay styles up on the fly and cater my experience to how I want to play. Leading to a game that is both extremely fulfilling and highly repayable. Dishonored 2 is one of my best gaming experiencing this year.

Dishonored 2 is a substantial improvement over its predecessor and is an expertly crafted continuation from the first. With a plethora of choices and wonderful architectural puzzle design, Dishonored 2 is truly an immersive experience. It's just a shame it's held back by terrible and unfortunate PC performance.

At its heart, Dishonored 2 is the game Assassins Creed should be. A lean, focussed stealth experience that can be played as a balls out action game should the desire take you. But despite being a solid experience, there really isn’t enough in this sequel to push the series forward. The two character mechanic isn’t explored as fully as it really could have been and the general aesthetic and mechanics simply feel like more of the same. While it’s well worth a play, Dishonored 2 feels, in some ways, like a missed opportunity.

Dishonored 2 is a better game than its predecessor in every form, building upon its award-winning formula, regardless if you stick to the shadows or spill the blood of your enemies. It’s a rewarding and satisfying experience, although the game culminates the same more or yes regardless of your choices. The game’s epilogue will paint an optimistic or disastrous picture of the future based on your choices, but the game’s narrative doesn’t hold up as well as the actual gameplay.

Dishonored 2 is an excellent stealth game bogged down by a terrible port. Consider this score provisional until Arkane fixes its myriad issues.
