If Blizzard can truly stick to their plan now of releasing more content for each expansion, while releasing newer expansions at a slower pace, we could be returning to a golden age for Warcraft once again. The current subscription numbers since launch could also be a reflection of that, based on what Blizzard has come out and said. If you’ve ever played World of Warcraft, if you currently still do, or even if you never have. Legion is the perfect point to jump in, and start shaping your story and your legacy in Azeroth.

Let’s just say that as it stands now, Legion is a high-point in the history of World of Warcraft and I don’t see the new-found energy of enthusiasm wearing off any time soon for the players.

World of Warcraft: Legion brought back a lot of the glory and splendor that I experienced when I first started the game. A plethora of features like World Quests and Artifact Weapons bring another layer of content to the endgame of Legion. Halting certain progression with research times is something I may have nerfed down a bit but other than that, Legion is near perfect to me as far as expansions go.

A lot of its new features & systems aren’t revolutionary, but what Blizzard have done is expertly refine them to work with their online game. With a visceral new hero class and an expansive end-game, the end result not only makes Legion the best expansion the game has seen since Wrath of the Lich King, but it reaffirms World of Warcraft’s place as the king of the genre.

Legion is a complete success and only now we see that WoD actually made sense even if some players didn’t like it in the end. WoD was a prologue for the incoming invasion and now it’s up to heroes of Azeroth to organize and save the world from destruction yet again. For Azeroth!

Warlords of Draenor disappointed a lot of fans, but Blizzard is back with Legion. The new areas look amazing and have a much bigger story, the Artifact Weapons add depth and Demon Hunters are awesome. Now we just need more content patches, Blizzard.

It has been a few years since World of Warcraft has rekindled that magic that had me logging in every night, rotating between my different characters and doing my best to maximise each of the available professions, but so far Legion has once again helped me to find that spark.

There are plenty of moments in Legion that make you smile, and playing with friends has been the engaging social experience that WoW has missed for a long time

‎In short, Blizzard presents a new expansion created in a masterful way, rich in visual details and even more exquisite in the narrative aspect. We can say that players are having a honeymoon with blizzard's expansion.‎

Legion is definitely one of the best (if not the best ever) expansions in recent years! World of Warcraft has finally received a breath of fresh air compared to the last disappointing expansion. We just have to hope that Blizzard keeps the Legion experience alive in the future and does not let it die like the last two, given that its goal - that is to make fans return to play - has been fully achieved.

Warlords had excellent content for a month-two, but then collapsed into the grinding garrison, with the authors ignoring the new content for nearly a year. With Legion, the main serving is just as good, and game systems promise it could be more durable. Patch 7.1 promises a redesigned Karazhan with a 5-person maze, which we look forward to immensely, and as long as there are more surprises, WoW: Legion can be a better perennian.

Crafting is also a big change. At any level, you’re able to craft anything, basically. The idea behind Legion‘s crafting is that as you’re basically leveling each item (there are 3 levels of crafting each item), and with each level, you’ll get bonuses and crafting becomes easier/uses less materials. I haven’t been able to fully attack my leatherworking like I plan to here soon, but I have dabbled, and it’s an intriguing idea that I think is going to pay off nicely in the long run because it means people won’t have to level from 1-800 from the start, but they’re able to level with mats they’re basically farming at their level, anyway.

If can it continue to learn from its mistakes and embrace the things that made the game great, this expansion will keep players fighting until the Burning Legion has been defeated for good.

World of Warcraft: Legion is easily the best product Blizzard Entertainment has released since the initial launch of World of Warcraft, and is an excellent expansion that every World of Warcraft player should at least try.

Legion absolutely feels like an expansion that will improve on everything good Blizzard can deliver, and will hopefully shape into an absolute monster of an expansion.

Great zones and questing content, new additions like Demon Hunters, Artifacts, and Class Halls, solid group content, an engaging story, and the return of WarCraft’s best group of villains make Legion one of the best expansions WoW has had at launch. It’s hard to judge the final quality of an MMO on release, but right now, Legion is on the path to becoming one of WoW’s strongest expansions.

This is the expansion World of Warcraft players have been waiting for, even if your faith has been shaken by somewhat mediocre expansion packs over World of Warcraft’s 12-year history.

Legion is everything it was promised to be and more; a part apology letter, part defiant challenge to any other games in the market thinking the old wolf was weakening. It is a love letter to its playerbase, to its most committed players, as well as the most approachable welcome to anybody coming back or starting fresh. It is the anti-Warlords of Draenor and, with the exception of FFXIV, the greatest comeback possibly in gaming history.
