Rayman Legends is one of the best games that no one played last year. Now is the time to remedy that.

Rayman Legends positively compliments the long-standing franchise and is a fantastic alternative to a certain other platform franchise which features four simultaneous players.

While the controls take a little getting used to, the crazy art style and musical levels more than compensate, and are worth the price of admission alone. If you also take into account the discounted price point, massive amount of variety, and local multiplayer, then it's impossible not to recommend this dream package to anyone with even a passing interest in the side-scrolling genre.

Yes it's available on nearly every other platform but that means that everyone can experience the expert level design, constant surprise and cheerful glee that is Rayman Legends.

No discernible graphical improvements between last-gen Rayman Legends and this new version on PS4 and Xbox One make it an odd choice for a re-release. That said, there's not much difference in price and the game itself is still a fantastic platforming experience that should be a part of any gamer's collection.

Rayman Legends is the latest platformer in the Rayman franchise. Loaded with characters new and old, as well as brand new levels, and some from Rayman Origins, it is a must have for anyone who did not get play it on previous generation consoles.

Rayman Legends is a phenomenal game, and one that I was pleasantly surprised by. Filled with bright, creative worlds, a fantastic soundtrack, and platforming without peer, Rayman Legends is a game that anyone, from child to adult, can and should play. And at its $40 price tag, it's a value that cannot be easily beaten.

Rayman Legends is an amazing game on the PlayStation 4 that is definitely a must have download from the PSN store. The level design is brilliant and the developers successfully take a 2D game and turn it into something very special on this new next-gen console. Highly Recommended!

‎Rayman Legends is one and remains a good game. It was already super on the current-gen consoles and is even better on the next-gen consoles. Ubisoft hasn't been sitting still and really did something to make a difference between this version and the earlier version for the older consoles. If you don't have the game yet, you'll have to go get it anyway. If you already have the game for other consoles, then you have to start asking yourself if the game is worth it and whether the pluses improve so much that you have to have the game a second time.‎

Rayman Legends is one of the best 2D platformers of the decade. The game has virtually everything – different levels, a mass of finds and a properly balanced difficulty level. On PS4 it looks lovely, it's just a pity that the news is so insignificant.

Although it'd be a lie to say that the PS4 version of Rayman Legends is a lot better than its Wii U predecessor, this newly-updated package is a hit and an absolute steal at $40 USD.

Rayman Legends takes everything that was great about Origins, and using a combination of black magic and near faultless design, manages to make it better - but there's no reason to get it again if you've already played it.

If you are a fan of platforming games, Rayman Legends should be a pretty easy acquisition to justify. Even if dozens of levels of running and jumping usually are not your thing, there is enough quality content here to make Rayman Legends worth your while. No matter which camp you fall into, Rayman Legends on the current generation of consoles is the best platforming experience of this early 2014 year.

Rayman Legends was one of the best platformers last year. With the arrival of this new version, Rayman Legends is currently the best platformer available on PS4 and Xbox One. The source material was extraordinary, nevertheless it must be admitted that Ubisoft has done everything to make this conversion technically perfect. The problem is that, once again, the game fails to reach the heights of excellence achieved on Wii U due to the limitations imposed by the traditional pads of Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Those who haven't played this game, you need this in your game collection because it is a perfect example of a great platformer. Whether or not this game is worth $40 is a subjective decision each of you will need to make, but we certainly would be willing to recommend picking this game up day one on PS4 regardless. It's simply that good, once again.

Really though, only one question needs to be answered: is Rayman Legends worth getting on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? Honestly, that depends. If you haven't played the game at all then yes, absolutely get it.

If you haven't played Rayman Legends yet, and you own a PS4, then forget everything I have said and run out to purchase it now. It's still a phenomenal game, I cannot stress this enough, and for the people who haven't purchased it yet, this is probably one of the better versions. . . . [A]nyone who already owns the game, which at this point is most of the Rayman fanbase, can simply overlook this release. It's just a port, and you aren't missing much by passing it up.

Rayman Legends lands on next-gen hardware with the same compelling gameplay and colorful visuals. But someone will miss the joyful and inventive Wii U co-op mode.

The "next-gen" version of Rayman Legends is not a re-release, a remake designed to bring out the best in the new Sony and Microsoft hardware. It is, more simply, the same title released six months ago, which today can be played on two other consoles. If you have not yet had the pleasure of discovering the new course of the Ubisoft platformer, the advice is now the same as then: make it yours without hesitation.
