Dreamfall Chapters - The Full Series Reviews
Between the lack of puzzles, needless wandering, and general heavy-handedness with certain topics, there were certainly times when I wasn’t enjoying myself as much as I probably should have been.
Dreamfall Chapters is a unique and satisfying adventure that fans of the genre should have on their must-play list
If you’re a fan of story driven adventure games with a focus on dialogue and problem solving, then Dreamfall Chapters is a gem even if you’ve not played the series before. If you’re not though, it’s unlikely to be the game that will make you change your mind.
As a standalone title, I found Dreamfall Chapters very hard to get into but those who do get absorbed are in for a treat. The story and delivery are fantastic and there is a lot to take in within the worlds, even if these worlds are let down by a few visual faux pas and dull puzzles.
If you like point and click adventures with a big side dose of narrative and wish to spend some time dreaming, then Dreamfall Chapters is a place that is well worth visiting.
Dreamfall Chapters is a lengthy and entertaining game with an enthralling narrative.
I loved playing the game for my Dreamfall Chapters review. It's an excellent adventure game and a very polished release. It features great writing and a solid story, really good graphics and a ton of content to enjoy. What's not to like? Other than not having a mini-map or map while exploring each location, this is a must-have on PS4
Adventure gaming may have seen a decline, but with gems such as Dreamfall: Chapters and King's Quest, the genre seems to be on the mend.
Dreamfall Chapters promises to provide a memorable, emotionally driven, and truly rewarding story experience that's only let down by needlessly time consuming puzzles.
Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey is a tough game to recommend to anyone other than longtime fans of the The Longest Journey series. It suffers with technical issues, its pacing is terrible and obtuse puzzles turn the game into an unnecessary ode to the classic adventures in the worst way possible. There's a good story here, but getting to it demands a good amount of time and patience.

Dreamfall Chapters on PlayStation 4 certainly feels like the definitive version. It features all content right from the start, so while we did have to wait for the game to release, we got all episodes at once. It also includes reworked character models, improvements to the animation, better lighting and some added special effects to make the game pop on the PlayStation 4. If you're a fan of adventure games, then you have to get Dreamfall Chapters for PS4 today!
Dreamfall Chapters is not a perfect shot. It has a descent story, a proper narration, memorable characters but it's gameplay issues and technical problems lessens it's value. Even so, this game is a proper experience more or less, even for those who are new to adventure games.

Although Dreamfall Chapters fills in the checklist for an adventure story game, it still leaves some room for improvement. The game is good overall, but just don't expect it to be a dream come true.
If you can withstand its tiresome first half, Dreamfall Chapters offers intriguing concepts and a satisfying continuation of the adventure series.
Dreamfall Chapter is a complete collection ported on Ps4 and Xbox One of the episodic adventures published on Pc starting from 2014, set in the marvelous world of the Longest Journey saga.

Although the often grimdark narrative could have done with the insertion of some levity, one has to admit that the team behind Dreamfall Chapters have a solid grasp on the art of storytelling, even if the game is steeped in seventeen years of history that's almost impenetrable to newcomers.
Chapters doesn't fully commit to the puzzle-adventure genre the saga is known for, but with plenty to explore and a novel's worth of narrative packed into it, you won't be strapped for content.
The weakest entry in a fantastic series, but worth seeing through to the end.
Dreamfall Chapters is a must-play for any fan of the adventure games. Design and setting are charming in addition to story of the highest quality. It could be better when it comes to technical aspects, but these flaws are bearable. Try it as soon as you can.

Dreamfall Chapters is an entertaining game that will bring about a satisfying continuation of the long-running series. While it has many of the same trappings that most adventure games suffer from – namely clunky controls and occasionally unintuitive puzzles – this is more than made up for with the game's story. If you've been waiting for the full console release of Dreamfall Chapters to continue your adventures in (and out of) Dreamtime, wait no longer and pick up Dreamfall Chapters as soon as you can.
