For an indie game at a low price point (currently £9.99 on steam), this game has immense value for money. Even if you just play it the once I personally believe you will get your money’s worth out Bohemian Killing. Some of the game has almost AAA title like qualities and this mixed with the unique story and gameplay style definitely makes it easy for me to recommend this game.

If you like original, creative, unique indie games, Bohemian Killing is a great title to pick up. It takes an intuitive spin on the murder mystery genre by removing the mystery and having you recreate the events in order to exonerate yourself through lying, framing others, or claiming insanity – alternatively, you can recreate the murder exactly as described by the prosecution and endure your fate. There are lots of subtle changes and deviations to discover, changes which affect the final verdict and the opinion of the judge you’re trying to convince. This is a very clever and complex narrative-driven adventure game which seamlessly adjusts based upon your choices and actions.

When it comes down to it, Bohemian Killing is an excellent example of a game that relies too much on concept, and not enough on execution.

My first admission with this unusual game is that when I spend far too much time up-front waiting for a bunch of story to play out and allow me to really do anything of substance I tend to bore easily...

Bohemian Killing is a promising but ultimately disappointing game, a great story and world let down by frustrating - and sometimes buggy - mechanics.

I felt more like I was being told a pretty boring story with sub-par pictures rather than becoming a criminal mastermind who got away with murder

While the experience was enjoyable, I have to say I was sort of waiting for a big reveal that just never really arrived. I suppose I was in love with the idea of Bohemian Killing more than I was really in love with the game itself. That said, originality and the bravery to walk off the beaten path of game design are laudable characteristics, and I did enjoy getting into the mystery, with all of its weird Promethean themes and bizarre scenes.

An utterly original game, which is partially ruined by a rather repetitive gameplay, which suffers from the presence of hundreds of loading times, and other flaws. Still, the title has its charme, and it can be suggested to the players who love story-driven games.

Bohemian Killing isn't the prettiest game in the world, but it's certainly a fascinating experience. It delivers on both its concept as a good ol' fashioned whodunnit, as well as its unconventional approach to storytelling.

Bohemian Killing, with its unique plot and great artistic style, is a great experience for fans of murder mystery, however, it does seem to be a niche game targeting a very specific audience.

Bohemian Killing is the perfect example of a great idea which has been carried out in a terrible way. Poor mechanics and graphics and a lot of bugs that are an obstacle for this game..
