Owlboy Reviews
Owlboy is a great game. The art style is excellent and the characters are great. Definitely recommended.
Take a break, relax with Toby at the hot springs; camp out with the party and chat, then wake up to a rising sun and lively tunes; or cross paths with a fancy fish in the strangest place. It is a title to enjoy and blow off some steam, so forget about hardcore challenges if you want to give this tale a go.
Owlboy is one of those games that draw a smile on the player's face. Noe is very complex at the level of mechanics, but he knows how to touch the fiber and will amuse us from start to finish.

Owlboy is a masterful tale of transcending disability
Owlboy is a stunning retro metroidvania title that is a joy to play and get lost in. If you have to play one retro title this year other than Celeste, do yourself a favor and pick up Owlboy for console or PC.
In summary, Owlboy is a near-perfect retro adventure that doesn’t emulate classic 16-bit titles so much as it gives us what we remember them to be. Sprawling and epic, even in the confines of a 2D plane, full of likeable protagonists, nefarious villains, tough encounters, and an uplifting story that you’ll walk away from satisfied.
Owlboy is a game which invokes many emotions due to its fabulous musical score, inviting visuals and a story which gets better with time as you get to know the characters. It's not the biggest challenge you will face and most will be able to complete the game without issue. The key here is the experience and on that count, this should be a game you consider to add to your collection.
In the end, I have to say that this work took me with me, and with its experience, I went to a world that I had been away from for years. A world whose memories were so sweet that now, whatever the case, I intend to find those works again and stay for a while in the same era!

The core of Owlboy's adventure is solving puzzles, interspersed with boss fights and occasional breaks to watch the story progression. It is a very competent game as long as the player does not mind a closed and ephemeral experience. It is, above all, a visual delight, made with a formidable pixel art that distinguishes it from the others in the industry.

Fortunately on top of that, the gameplay is also sound, delivering a nice puzzle platforming experience with a wealth of variety and distinctive elements. That being said, the Switch version is rough around the edges right now. It's still possible to play through and enjoy, but it might be worth holding out for the patch (or even the physical version in May).
The Switch version of Owlboy is as good as the PC one, which means that we're in presence of a quasi-masterpiece: the ingredients are a touching story, a varied and funny gameplay and an outstanding presentation. if only it was a little shorter, it didn't have to reuse puzzles and ideas.

Owlboy arrives on Nintendo Switch (and PS4 y Xbox One) retaining all its charm and beautiful pixel art that make it an indie hit in 2016. It's a nice adventure that shines in its characters and writing, but if fells short in playing time, collectibles and use of the world. At least, you can now enjoy this little gem anyewhere.

From the built-in mythology, character animations, well-written dialogue, tight controls, and a handful of plot twists, Owlboy does just about everything right.
In every aspect of Owlboy, care and careful consideration has been applied to create a seamless experience without the bells and whistles of modern AAA games. There is nothing in the way between you and Owlboy’s tragic yet comic characters, captivating dungeons, and irresistible soundtrack and visuals.
Owlboy comes to demonstrate to indie development how with patience and good work, a long development, no matter how long it may be, can end up in a good port. A polished and simple gameplay, charismatic characters and a story that goes beyond the epic.
