If you have a Nintendo Switch and you simply want to dance, Just Dance 2017 is a must have game. However, the price is too high for this kind of entertainment.

Just Dance 2017 is a good way to introduce new players to the game, or to get friends in the game with you - but as for accuracy, it's not the best. That said, you'll probably be having so much fun dancing to the Sumo version of "Hips Don't Lie" that you won't even notice the hiccups.

There’s no doubt that Ubisoft hit gold with the series, but is there enough variation to keep re-inventing the wheel time after time? Apparently so. If you didn’t pick it up for any other console, the Nintendo Switch version is by far the most unique with its great portability and Joy-Con accuracy. But like a child with too much sugar, it’s only fun in small doses.

As fun as only Just Dance can be, this game is a great example of what this series make well... But doesn't includes any real changes or new features.

It's challenging both mentally (to learn the choreography) and physically. And it has a lot of music to offer. Just Dance 2017 gets that way not by being a technical program obsessing about judging the details of your physical movements, but by doing everything in its power to make you forget everything but the music, the choreography, how they intertwine, and how you're ever going to be able to catch your breath in time to keep up with it.

Just Dance 2017 arrives on the Nintendo Switch and with it, Nintendo's new system gains its first family and friends party game based on dancing. Thanks to its ambitious catalog of songs - of which 40 are included with the game and an additional 200 require a paid annual subscription - Just Dance 2017 on the Switch will be thoroughly enjoyed by enthusiasts both at home and on the go, thanks to portability of Nintendo's console. It may not be the most groundbreaking experience but it's certain to stand out as one of the most socially fun games available on this system.

Never one to be lost in the spectacle of its unbeatable production values, Just Dance 2017 discovers a welcome home on Nintendo Switch. With the console lending the chance to dance anywhere that you like, the Just Dance faithful will be happy with this iteration. But Ubisoft still needs to find more ways to playfully reinvent what we have come to expect from the series.

Probably the most definitive Just Dance game yet, but maybe it should be the last?

Nintendo Switch version of Just Dance 2017, is not much different than other versions of the game. If you are looking for a game that you can enjoy with friends and have some fun, this game is for you but don't expect to learn new dance moves!

Just Dance 2017 is another good but flawed party game to add to the Nintendo Switch line up, if you're looking for a game that will offer hours of stupid fun then this is the perfect game to purchase for the Switch, and also take it on the go and play just using the undocked screen. If you're looking for that kind of party game fun then this will be perfect for you, and is worth the purchase.

Just Dance 2017 offers that same great dancing mechanics and adds the accuracy of the Joy Cons. The Joy Cons are very lightweight, which is perfect if you plan on dancing for long stretches of time. While it doesn't make any ground breaking changes to the formula, it does offer a really fun experience for dancers of all ages and abilities.

Just Dance 2017 isn't a bad port on the Switch by any means. If you have a family that doesn't mind looking stupid in front of the TV together, it's easy enough to scrape together a collective of Joy-Con and mobile controllers to have a party (easier than it is for say, Bomberman R or Fast RMX, for instance). Plus, the three months of Unlimited will last you long enough to likely get your money's worth.

This year's edition of the Just Dance series lifts the game beyond its former releases thanks to its focus on treating players to various extras the more they play, as well as integrating the online component so smoothly. There will always be a tendency to jiggle the Joy-Con randomly - as with the Wii Remote in the past - in the hopes of cheating to get a decent score, but some of the fun factor is removed by doing that. Just Dance 2017 on Nintendo Switch is as close to perfection in the genre as possible, even if this version has lost some of the features included in the already released Wii U edition.

Just Dance 2017 on Nintendo Switch is the definition of a port as besides allowing for new control options, there's nothing to distinguish it from other consoles.

For one of the earliest Nintendo Switch experiences I’ve had with the console, Just Dance 2017 was a disappointing departure. Though its slick and easy to use interface combined with the Switch-centric Tabletop Mode are boons for those looking to dance, there’s little substance here, certainly not enough to recommend shelling out cash for Just Dance Unlimited or even playing this game instead of just turning on the radio and dancing to your own routines. It will likely please casual fans who don’t know any better, but if you really want to learn how to dance wait for the inevitable full-body VR trainer or just roll it on back to Dance Central, the undisputed dance trainer of the last decade. You’ll surely learn a lot more, and it’s still great at parties.

A new installment of an endless franchise. A funny game when played with other people, but the Unlimited does not have its full potential and there are some issues with the movement tracking.

While a step up from last year in terms of included tracks, Just Dance 2017 doesn’t bring a lot new to the table — the meat and potatoes lies in Just Dance Unlimited. The Switch version specifically functions as well as you might expect, offering up an easy second player controller courtesy of readily-available Joy-Cons, though the experience becomes difficult visually once undocked. At this point, it’s what you’d expect from Just Dance, but on a new platform. Consider this tiny cartridge your portal into Just Dance Unlimited as I imagine 2017 might be where physical entries to the series end.
