Eagle Flight is a satisfying experiences for the PlayStation VR at the time of launch, but despite its excellent thrills of speed, its originality and successful aesthetics, it lacks a lot in variety and depth. Would've particularly appreciate that its very multiplayer part could have more than a single mode. Nevertheless, a good demonstration of what Ubisoft could do in the future with more time on a VR platform.

At launch, Eagle Flight doesn’t offer enough for the near-full price it charges. Single player isn’t enough to justify a purchase and multiplayer isn’t populous enough to get regular matches. Eagle Flight gets the basics right, flight is great and combat can be full of excitement, the game just doesn’t build much on that strong foundation.

Eagle Flight has achieved what some other VR games couldn’t, and that’s fluidness of its gameplay and experience. I didn’t experience motion sickness, fortunately. Looting for feathers and fishes can be reasons to get back into the wings of an eagle, but it’s not enough to make replayability last.

After the relatively disappointing launch titles for the PlayStation VR, there are a few games that will make you appreciate this new medium and thankfully one of those games is Eagle Flight. In the end, it successfully creates one of the best immersive experiences with its sturdy controls and beautiful graphics plus enjoyable gameplay. Recommended!

After spending some solid time with Eagle Flight it's so, so hard to put into words just how I feel about it. The game itself, as an entire package, is an admirable effort. Eagle Flight obviously started out as a tech demo of sorts but the developers have done a great job of expanding it into a full (albeit, lower priced) experience. Eagle Flight does have its fair share of issues – namely whether it's truly worth the price of entry and whether it'll have longevity.

Despite being a competent VR title (mainly thanks to its interesting controls) and a fascinatingly weird flying simulator, Eagly Flight ultimately lacks a bit of depth and structure. Which is honestly a pity, considering how entertaining is to actually fly around a wasted Paris reclaimed by Mother Nature.

Eagle Flight isn't perfect then. It has some frustrating design elements, the online community is a bit of a ghost town and at times-it can very literally be a painful experience. Yet in spite of that, it's one that I can't stop returning to. The feeling of flying is so well implemented and the amount of content is so generous, that this is the VR experience you'll want to proudly show your friends. Eagle Flight is quite simply, one of the most joyous experiences you can have in gaming and an utterly essential PSVR title.

Sort of like that dream you had once about being a bird, but with more feather collecting and fish.

While Eagle Flight has some really good elements, it also has several problems including a steep price tag, repetitive gameplay, no checkpoints, and a slim online mode.

Eagle Flight is a well-conceived proof of concept whose purity of vision is unusual, but more than welcome. Its intuitive controls and convincing sense of speed make it a VR title that other developers will surely be borrowing from. While the multiplayer mode’s thrills will provide some longevity, it’s ultimately only a lack of content that keeps Eagle Flight from being essential.

Being able to fly in a Paris reconquered by the nature is a moving experience, not to talk about confronting three against three online in VR, which is exciting. Too bad there is not enough content to keep high the player's attention.

A small game that shows off all the artistic talents of the team. There's a real joyfulness in the concept of flight, as enabled by VR, and Unity has never looked better; if this is a sign of things to come from that engine then we're in for some wild times as developers of all sizes start creating more VR content for it. There's a purity and innocence to Eagle Flight so completely wondrous to behold that I wish Ubisoft created more of these kinds of games.

Eagle Flight surprised me with how quickly I felt at home flying and fighting with other birds above Paris. It features some of the best and most responsive and comfortable gameplay available on the PSVR, though like most current VR games its appeal may be short-lived if you’re not a completionist who’s crazy about collectibles or high scores. This is a weird idea, well executed, that soars high.

Eagle Flight has actually kept my interest for far longer than many of the other PlayStation VR titles out near launch, and this is largely due to the good mechanics the developers have put in place to encourage replayability.

The dream of flight becomes reality with PlayStation VR. But the fantasy is a shallow and repetitive one, that you wake up from all too quickly.

A virtual reality game enriched with single player and multiplayer content, unlike other VR games that feel more of a short experience than a full game. Flying at high speeds and taking hard turns is exciting and fun, but it gets a bit boring when flying around normally. If you’re looking for a VR game filled with content then this is for you, otherwise you can find plenty of VR short “experiences” that are more fun to play.

Eagle Flight is certainly not one of the best experiences available for PSVR, but it is one of the most peculiar. The control system, the sense of speed, the exhilaration of the flight and the style of production manages to create an interesting mix

It’s fun to be a bird for a while, but monotonous play and a sky high price tag keep Eagle Flight from soaring

Eagle Flight is a genuinely awesome game, and not just an "experience." A decent story mode with the usual collectibles (oh, Ubisoft, never change, darling) and a multiplayer portion that's proper intense makes this a viable purchase. It might seem a little light on content, but in comparison with similarly priced PSVR games, I can't really complain. With a few updates to add in a bit more content, this one could be flapping its wings for a long time.

It is a pretty decent VR title though, with a strong conceit and pleasant scenery. That makes it notable enough. To be honest, what it really needs is support for sticking your arms out at your side and flapping around like Big Bird, but perhaps the later Vive version and/or Oculus Touch support might let us live out our Michael Keaton mid-life crisis fantasies.
