Sniper Elite 4 isn’t a revelation, but it’s a solid game that shouldn’t be missed if you enjoy stealth games.

With gameplay that can shock, amuse and satisfy in the same slowed heartbeat, Sniper Elite 4 is the best game in the series. While it graphics, story and characters can feel a little flat, the gameplay has always been the focus, and is so perfectly tuned to make the rest seem inconsequential.

Sniper Elite 4 isn't the most sophisticated experience, but it puts all of its strengths front and center and delivers a very polished shooter.

You can often measure a game like Sniper Elite 4 by how much fun you are having when everything has gone to hell.

A hearty improvement on Sniper Elite 3 that embraces freeform play, gets better in co-op, and most importantly lets us shoot things from very far away.

Although the title presents some flaws, especially at the IA level and at the level of graphics, care and movements, it is globally still enjoyable, finding its space within the world of online sniping.

It's not perfect and it's not all bad. Sniper Elite 4 has huge levels with a lot of ways to complete, But most of them are repetitive and boring. However Sniper Elite 4 is the best game in the series and it can entertain you for almost 10 hours.

Sniper Elite 4 is the series best entry & possibly best sniper-driven game in 2017 that’s incredibly enjoyable. If you admire the poetic and colorful Italian setting and want a classic shooter with high freedom of choice and great stealth mechanisms, with a good story mode, enjoyable multiplayer & loveable survivor, Sniper Elite 4 is the defining experience.

Sniper Elite 4 improves all areas of the franchise to a greater or lesser extent, and its protagonist remains the only real weak spot.

Latest entry in the series copes with basic task – it's pretty fun and rewarding for a player to kill using a sniper rifle. Shame though that the story is boring, arsenal is pretty limited, and enemies' behavior is primitive. But the core sniping mechanic of Sniper Elite 4 can provide a couple evenings worth of entertainment.

Sniper Elite 4 comes across as a fully-realized result of the shifts Rebellion set in motion with the previous game, and proves itself an ably constructed, often gorgeous, and thoroughly engrossing stealth-action shooter.

So how to conclude? Well, it's another Sniper Elite game. Much like number three, which admittedly took some major steps forward over V2, but the same level of progress is missing. A new climate and a lick of paint have made another game in practically the precise mould of the brilliant Sniper Elite III, so I can't really complain. It's like going back to your favourite restaurant and ordering what you always order. Sure, it's a bloody delight, and there's not much bad to say about it, but perhaps something slightly different (aware as I am that this is vague and ill-defined) might have been nice?

With its inconsequential story and addiction to inane splatter kills, Rebellion's Sniper Elite 4 doesn't subvert expectations. It doesn't have to necessarily: The appeal of shooting digital Nazis may never stagnate, and increasing the scale of each stage means more Nazis to kill and an increased potential for strategy. But a bigger scope makes the inherent problems more visible.

There are places for improvement in terms of AI and story, but it's still amazingly good TPS with fantastic open levels and exciting x-ray shots. If you try it, you certainly won't regret it.

If you can get past the horrible AI, boring level design and the repetitive gameplay loop; you may find a barely functioning video game. Nothing more, nothing less.

In a time where games rely on updates, patches, and DLC to become what the game should have been at launch, it was very refreshing to see Sniper Elite 4 release without any glaring weaknesses or issues.
