Sniper Elite 4 succeeds in presenting a slow and tense atmosphere the closer to you get to your targets. Sneaking around a level through the darkness and taking out a target from a great distance without getting caught it one of the most satisfying experiences. It's a shame that these moments are few and far in between, and you spend most of your time with highly aggressive enemy AI. This can get really frustrating after a few hours of gameplay and the only thing that keeps you playing is looking forward to the next sniping mission and seeing it through the kill cam.

It's not perfect and it's not all bad. Sniper Elite 4 has huge levels with a lot of ways to complete, But most of them are repetitive and boring. However Sniper Elite 4 is the best game in the series and it can entertain you for almost 10 hours.

Paired with some custom difficulty settings, and players can seriously crank up the adrenaline in this title. A lack of depth in character progression and weapon variety, coupled with a stagnant and unimaginative competitive multiplayer element hold the game back, but it’s still one of the best entries in the series so far.

Sniper Elite 4 could have been the ultimate co-op experience – it's good looking, intense and well designed. But lack of realism and a poorly written plot drags it down.

Sniper Elite 4 manages to offer a unique approach to shooter games, thanks to its deep and articulated sniping mechanics. Yet, the release on Switch doesn't even try to hide its age and feels shallow and forgettable. If you love this kind of game, probably Switch isn't the best choice where to play it.

Sniper Elite 4 is going to be a favorite for those who love shooting through a rifle scope. It cleverly injected strategy and cooperative play to suit its crowd. Unless you’re specifically looking for some sniping action and are able to play in high difficulty mode, Sniper Elite 4 can wait.

With each successive bullet they've released from the chamber, Rebellion continues to get closer and closer to the bullseye, but unfortunately Sniper Elite 4 is still a few inches off the mark. The game's maps set a new standard for the series, and the accuracy of the its Authentic difficulty bring the thrill of sniping to new heights, but the game's lackluster A.I., middling presentation, and poor central gameplay loop all scream "mediocre".

With Sniper Elite 4, Rebellion Studio may satisfy some of the fans of the series but compared to Sniper Elite III, This game has so many little improvements. Although the maps are bigger and kill cams are more violent the story, character modelling and music are weak and these issues prevent the game to be a great one. If we put aside the weak points, the way you can finish the levels and great weapons, make the game worth finishing at least once.

With its inconsequential story and addiction to inane splatter kills, Rebellion's Sniper Elite 4 doesn't subvert expectations. It doesn't have to necessarily: The appeal of shooting digital Nazis may never stagnate, and increasing the scale of each stage means more Nazis to kill and an increased potential for strategy. But a bigger scope makes the inherent problems more visible.

Sniper Elite 4 is a blast when you're in its sweet spot, tagging enemies and dispatching them from a distance. Unfortunately, it's dragged down by otherwise bad gunplay, a mediocre story, and poor voice acting. If you just want to shoot Nazis from a distance, you'll have a good time though.

If you can get past the horrible AI, boring level design and the repetitive gameplay loop; you may find a barely functioning video game. Nothing more, nothing less.

Although the title presents some flaws, especially at the IA level and at the level of graphics, care and movements, it is globally still enjoyable, finding its space within the world of online sniping.

Latest entry in the series copes with basic task – it's pretty fun and rewarding for a player to kill using a sniper rifle. Shame though that the story is boring, arsenal is pretty limited, and enemies' behavior is primitive. But the core sniping mechanic of Sniper Elite 4 can provide a couple evenings worth of entertainment.

With bigger environments and far more details than sniper elite 3, we are witnessing great progress in all aspects in sniper elite 4 but Repetitive levels prevent it from becoming a great game. Sniper elite 4 is a Beautifull game which becomes so boring after a few hours of play.

Sniper Elite 4 focuses on a handful of things that it does very well, and the overall experience is one that I enjoyed. This is a more thoughtful, slower burning pace than the typical shooter, though it is punctuated by moments of intense action that stand out more because they are highlights and not a constant drone of gunfire and running. That being said, the series on the whole has room to grow and is probably overdue to put some more effort into its story and perhaps add a few more wrinkles to the overall gameplay as well.

If the thought of a long-range shot passing through the eye-socket of a Nazi appeals well, then, give it a shot.
