Destroy All Humans shows its age with poor level and game design, but the chaos that can be wrought upon the Earth with Crypto's arsenal of weapons makes it worth a playthrough.

If nothing else, jumping in his saucer and decimating an entire town can be quite cathartic. Or is that just me?

Conquering Earth can be a violent thing, but in Destroy All Humans, you'll have fun wiping out everyone who gets in the way, with your weapons or UFO and a touch of humor.

Destroy All Humans! is another wonderful remaster from THQ Noridc. The overhauled graphics make the game pop, while the action and general premise are just as entertaining now as they were back in 2005.

You can still have a lot of fun with Destroy All Humans but it does come with a content warning that, unfortunately, lasts the entirety of the game and some archaic concepts that have been far surpassed since the game first launched. But Destroy All Humans can definitely present a good time whether you want to relive a classic game you grew up with or fancy something different to play.

While Destroy All Humans! is a great nostalgia trip for me and I really enjoyed replaying the game, in the end it does feel like I'm replaying that PS2 title just with some enhanced graphics. While it doesn't really feel 15 years old, there are certainly moments where you question whether an improved touch would've been better for some aspects. It isn't bad, but it isn't the best it can be.

Destroy All Humans is a faithful remake of a great action-adventure series from our past. It brings the series to a new generation while retaining its classic quirks and gameplay systems. In many ways, this works, but not without noticeable systems appearing dated. That said, I was happy to have the chance to get beamed up to invade Earth once more.

Destroy All Humans! brings the original Pandemic Studios game to Xbox One, with a surprising graphical remake but keeping the original design and gameplay with too little improvements. The game is still pretty much enjoyable, but it brings with it some old flaws we would have liked to see reworked.

Destroy All Humans! is a refreshing remake that harkens back to the classic times when developers were more concerned with experimenting with gameplay and story instead of creating the next cinematic masterpiece.

Destroy All Humans! is worthwhile only to the small number of people who have enjoyed the original and no longer have access to it. As for those who have previously slept on the original game, there is nothing here to prevent you from doing the same this time around.

Though it misses the mark on some important points, Destroy All Humans! (2020) is an incredibly faithful remake that is well worth picking up.

My brief intermezzo with Destroy All Humans! did for me exactly what I had expected. A bit of nostalgia, fired up with chic graphics and lovingly fooling around in free mode. The controls are really easy to use, the constantly bad-tempered Crypto involuntarily radiates humorous charm and the social criticism of the USA in 50s style is still as meaningful today as it was when the original was released.

Whilst I did have immense fun with Destroy all Humans the game feels dated in its controls and content and I feel that the asking price is on the high side due to a variety of factors of which the main one is that Microsoft themselves gave the original game away for Free as part of the Games for Gold program a month or so before the release. I believe this was done to drum up anticipation for the game but I cant help feel that it backfired as there isn't enough additional content or changes to warrant the price.

This fantastic remake is a perfect occasion for new players to finally experience Crypto’s adventures on Earth. It is still as funny and playable as the original, but now with some stunning visuals (unless we are talking about the pedestrian models).

Long story short, Destroy All Humans! is a remaster that came five years too late, and even then, still comes up short in terms of delivery. But if you’re just back to rekindle an old flame on your current-gen console, slightly dated graphics and audio shouldn’t really deter you from destroying all humans!

These small imperfections, however, will not spoil the overall picture of the game, which reminds us of “Mars Attacks!” with entertaining gameplay and lots of “B-Movie” moments.

We recommend the game for 7 points and we hope that we will see a remake of the second game, which was threefold in its content, you fought against ninjas and Kojira, and mainly supported the splitscreen game.

The year is 2020 and yet the world is not at its peak; therefore, many individuals look to nostalgia to remind them of happier, better times. The current generation is one of remakes and remasters aplenty, and THQ Nordic is capitalizing on that. Not long after the release of their remake for SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (which was a flop), they follow with a remake for Destroy All Humans!.

Destroy All Humans! will surely offer you an immersive adventure. Although it suffers from long loading screens and requires some knowledge of his historical context, there are some qualities: the gameplay is good, we have several weapons and skills at our disposal and many missions and collectibles to complete and obtain.
